I am sorry that I can not be with you right now... I have had a breakthrough with my research and it has kept me busy here ever since. I miss you greatly. I miss being able to look at you whenever I want to. Now, I can only look at my sketches when I feel lonely, but nothing compares to holding you in my arms. I'm sure your work has kept you busy as well, otherwise I would have asked an expedition to bring you up here
Worry not though, love, I am almost done with this series of experiments and I cannot wait to look upon your beautiful face again.

Albedo General Headcanons

A/N: This has been sitting in my drafts for actually months, in honour of him coming home I finally got around to proofreading it

FALLING IN LOVE:
it'll take some time to get him to warm up to you since he's not used to havig and keeping relationships, even platonically
He wants to know you as a friend first and falls in love with you later
when he falls in love, he ponders on what it is he's feeling first (for a long time)
he's an alchemist and hasn't spend much time in the company of others, so he doesn't understand feelings that well
would have no idea what's happening
doesn't know why he's feeling this awkward when he's around you
he has this desire to make everything right when you are there (he just wants to impress you)
Somebody else would probably have to tell him that these feelings are normal (and what they are) -it's Kaeya, who says in passing how obvious the alchemist's crush on you is and Albedo frantically looks around to check wether you've heard-
Suddenly, everything makes sense to him. How he always looks forward to seeing you, how he can't seem to concentrate or look away from you when you're there, how he worries when you're late more than he does with others
But now he has the problem of talking to you without immideatly telling you how he feels
He is scared that you'll reject him and will "test" some things (he'll try to fluster you and see if it works and wether it's because of him or the compliments). He will only try to confess when he is very sure you like him back
When he finally decides to do it, he plans his confession out and wants it to be perfect
he's still kind of scared that you'll reject him because he has no idea how romantic relationships work, even if he's sure you like him
he tries not to, but he will become quite distant mentally, (nothing very unusual, but now it's you on his mind instead of experiments (not that you know that)), even though the time he physically spends with you will be longer than before (slowly but surely, he doesn't want to rush you and make you question what he's doing)
CONFESSION:
For his confession, he plans. A lot.
he wants to make it special and wants you to remember it (to him, you only deserve the best)
he will probably plan some sort of picnic, either in Dragonspine (why? it's where he works, so he knows every spot there (also, he wants an excuse to give you his jacket when you're cold)) or near Mondstadt. He will have -a lot- some of his artificial flowers. Depending on how cold it is, he might modify them so that they emit some heat and they will be flying around and bringing you food
Now, as you're sitting there, he's hesitant, even though he knows you like him back
He's confused because the rational part of his mind knows this. But there's still something in him that is convinced you'll reject him for whatever reason.
In the end, when he does confess, you won't even know he'd been nervous
WHAT YOUR RELATIONSHIP IS LIKE:
Overall the sweetest and kindest boyfriend in the world
If you like them and you told him this before, expect to be randomly lifted by his flowers, especially if he sees that you are trying to get something from high up and can't reach it
He doesn't understand the point of teasing soemone and he would prefer if you didn't tease him too much either
He would probably want to show you a lot of his experiments (as long as you don't mind, of course), but wants you to stay back far enough so you won't get hurt.
Let's you do little experiments yourself, although they are only ones he knows nothing CAN go wrong
He loves giving you things, his gifts usually consist of his experiemnts, he'd rather give you something he spent his time on than just buy you something
Will ramble on an on about something interesting he found while the two of you are cuddling.
Probably apologizes for this for the first few times, until you tell him you don't mind and that you like his voice
He will also always listen to you, he thinks it's only fair since you listen to him as well
Always invites you to join him with his experiments and expeditions on Dragonspine, but never pressures you
Asks you to take an experienced adventurer with you unless you are one yourself if you ever go up pr down the mountain without him
Prefers if you go up together, though (also because he -unconciously- tries to impress you with his knowledge)
You are the only person that can stop him from overworking by offering cuddles (please make use of this power, even if it's only for 10 minutes)
He spends a lot of time with his experiments and will not come down from Dragonspine for weeks at a time, which is why he takes you with him. You remind him that there are other things than experimenting and he doesn't have to miss you when you're with him
If you can ever not go with him, he will write you letters that he will let the expeditions that bring him new materials deliver to you
Probably has a big, heated tent or cave somewhere on Dragonspine where the two of you sleep
If you're a knight and have to do paperwork, you do it either in there or in his lab cave
If you're an adventurer, you go out to clear comissions in and around Dragonspine and then come back to him
You also remind him that he has to go back to the city one in a while
When he is in Modstadt and not working in the Headquarters, he loves to spend all of his time with you (it's still not that much in the beginning, but he learns and wants to spend more time with you and on the relationship)
You go on dates and, no matter where you go or for how long, most end with him painting or sketching you (don't blame him, he thinks you're beautiful and wants to preserve that beauty on paper)
PHYSICAL AFFECTION:
I think Albedo is a morning person, he gets up early to start his experiments and tries his best not to wake you
He gives you a small peck on the forehead and then gets ready and leaves
He thinks you don't know, but sometimes him shuffling around wakes you up but, hey, it's not like you're complaining
Throughout the day, whenever he sees you, he will give you a short kiss or a peck on the cheek or he will hug for a short moment
Once he retires for the day (and if you're not already asleep) he will cuddle you and not let go
This is also when his kisses get longer and he holds you even closer
He won't let go of you for the whole night and if you have to stand up for whatever reason... good luck
He doesn't sleep that well without you anymore, which he sometimes sees as inconvenient but doesn't actually mind that much
ARGUMENTS:
Arguments between the two of you rarely happen and if they do, they're mostly about him overworking himself
Those usually get resolved just as quick since he doesn't like fighting with you and knows it will only steal time that can be spent on better things
He really really appreciates you being there for and with him every step of the way and if he falls in love with you, it's going to stay that way forever (pls don't leave him ever, he probably wouldn't be able to take it)
Both of you learn to communicate whenever you have a disagreement, and if it's not possible right away, you do so the next morning

A/N: I'm sorry this is late. I had an exam and had to study (🙄). Day three will be out tomorrow, as will Day 4. After that it'll hopefully be every day again. This is not properly proofread.

You were basically Klee's babysitter. After Jean found out about the plans Klee came up with in solitary confinement, she assigned someone to entertain her und keep her out of trouble. That someone happened to be you. Over the last few months of this arrangement, you've grown close. You started seeing her as your little sister und she also saw you as a big sibling. So, she thought she should introduce you to her other sibling, her big brother Albedo.
And what better way to do this than inviting you to malle Christmas Cards with her at her house. of course, you agreed.
You and klee were sitting at her kitchen table messing with colours, paper and glitterg glue that Alice made for her. That was when he came in. Albedo came home, ready to prepare dinner for Klee, who would usually be brought back home by Lisa, Kaeya or Jean about an hour later.
What he was not ready for was the light being on und the laughter of klee. And another person. Where did this other person come from? Slightly vary, he opened the door and snuk across the hallway towards the kitchen. He peeked around the corner seeing two people leaning over the table, one was his little sister waving paper around und gesturing wildly with her hands and the other person, of which he could only see the heir leaning down and sketching something was unknown to him but didn't seem threatening. So, Klee was not in danger. But still, who was that person?

"Albedo!" Klee spotted him and ran up to her brother "look what me und y/n are making!"
Ah, so you were the y/n Klee had been talking about for the last weeks. The games you two played und how you took care of her whenever she messed up and that you were always nice. Albedo had wanted to meet you for a while now. Lost in his thoughts, he didn't even notice Klee letting go of him and bouncing back to the table. It was only when she told you to look who was home that he snapped out of it to greet you properly. This was another thing he was not ready for.
You looked up at him, smiling and saying some sort of greeting that he didn't understand because he was in a trance get again. Don't blame him, he just neuer thought he'd see someone as attractive as you. He caught himself quickly though, walking over to the table were you had stood up to shake hands in greeting.
"Hello. Pleased to meet you" Why was he shy? You were just an ordinary person, there was no reason for him to be nervous in any way.
"Likewise" He liked your voice, he noticed. It was a very nice voice. What was his brain doing? He's heard you speak only one word, where did this come from?
Unbeknownst to him, you weren't faring much better, also captivated by the beautiful being in front of you.
"Big brother Albedo, do you want to join us? Were making Christmas Cards!" It was only then that the two of you noted you were still shaking hands without the hands moving. No, he will not call it holding hands. It won't be too good for his heart.
"You know what? Why not. Y/n, do you want to stay for dinner later?"
"Yeah! Please join us!"
"If you insist, then gladly" You agreed to their proposition.

It was a very fun evening, making the cards and then preparing dinner together. Over the table, you und Albedo threw glances at each other when one of you wasn't looking, much to the amusement of Klee, who was smiling to herself, already scheming on how she'll get the two of you together.

How and where they like to kiss you

ALBEDO
Albedo prefers short pecks over long kisses during the day, as he doesn’t want to get distracted by you when you visit him in his lab (he gets distracted anyway), but once he’s home from work, it’s like he’s glued to you. As long as you’re okay with it, he has his arms around you and leans in every couple of minutes for a kiss. Still prefers it if you spend your time cuddling rather than kissing, because he loves admiring your features and he can’t do that properly if you’re kissing. Both the first and last thing he does every day when you’re with him (instead of him being on Dragonspine or in his lab alone) is pecking your forehead, both of your cheeks and then your lips. It starts and ends both of your days nicely. He also loves when you kiss his forehead after his little ritual.
KAEYA
Kaeya loves just teasingly kissing the corner of your mouth, no matter whether it’s in public or when the two of you are alone. He loves your flustered reaction when he smirks at you after doing this in public, even though you know fully well that he’s just putting up a front to keep his image. Both of you prefer the soft smile he looks at you with when this happens in private and the proper kiss you know he will give you a few seconds later. He’s actually an incredibly soft lover once the two of you are behind closed doors and he also asked you multiple times whether you’re okay with his outdoor persona. This attitude is represented in his kisses. If he ever properly kisses you in public, which he prefers not to for whatever reason, it would just be a brief peck where he leans quickly and is gone just as fast. It’s still enough for both of you to show how much you love each other. He also loves when you kiss his cheek in response to a kiss on the corner of your mouth. In private, however, he loves slow and long kisses, savouring every moment he has with you.
DILUC
When in public, Diluc likes to kiss your hand. Whether you enter the tavern and greet him or you say goodbye and leave, he takes your hand and presses a quick, gentle kiss to it. The citizens of Mondstadt were surprised when it happened for the first time, although by now, they have gotten so used to it that no one bats an eye anymore.
When the two of you are alone, he’s a little bolder. He loves cupping your cheek and keeping eye contact for a few seconds before he leans in, gently guiding your lips to his.
His kisses are always gentle and make you feel warm and safe.
VENTI
Venti loves cheek kisses, both giving them and receiving them. He doesn’t know how to explain it, but they feel like freedom to him. Holding you close to press his lips to your cheek or you doing the same to him. They make him feel like he can do anything, even though he technically could even before. He also kisses your cheek when there’s anything you want to do as encouragement. You also do this when you go to sleep together, even though Venti doesn’t need to sleep. You peck his cheek and he pecks yours and then you fall asleep. It used to make him giggle so much whenever you did it, he was easily flustered in the beginning of your relationship. Now it’s just a regular occurrence in your relationship and neither of you can go longer than a day without at least one kiss on the cheek for both of you.
