LESSONS IN VISUALISATION.

LESSONS IN VISUALISATION.
Reupload from my old account but with some changes! I was @fangwitch before.
Part two here.
VisualisationΒ is incredibly useful in witchcraft as it is the base of energy work. From this, you can do all kinds of practices.
You can use visualisation as a tool for meditation, astral travel, and wider spellwork such as sending energy into objects among other things.
So, how do I start?
Hereβs a few basic exercises for you to practice. They're very simple and many of you will probably be able to pick it up easily if youβve already done visualisation techniques!
Exercise One
1.Β If you're new to visualisation, youβll need a quiet area where youβll be comfortable. Even lying in bed and putting white noise in your headphones works. Get rid of all distractions, put your phone on silent if you can.
2.Β Close your eyes, and imagine a mountain. It's important to remember that not everyone is capable of picturing an exact image in their head - some people only conjure the idea of a mountain or a blurry image instead. Don't get frustrated with yourself, these techniques can be built on over time but should still be personalised to your abilities
3. Allow any passing thoughts to float by like clouds, inconsequential to the strength of your mountain. Breathe slow and deep as they pass you by. Bring your focus back to the mountain each time your mind drifts away.
4. You can use this technique as a way to ease yourself into practicing regular meditation too. Try it for five minutes a day, and you can even expand on what the mountain looks like, what animals might be there, and what it sounds and smells like, in time.
Exercise Two
1. Begin again by getting comfortable somewhere quiet and without distractions. Take some slow, deep breaths and close your eyes.
2. Imagine an apple, any old apple. Slowly, focus in on the details. Does it have leaves, more than one colour? Consider each tiny detail of the apple youβve created.
3. Next, imagine a knife. Consider the size, the weight of the handle and what kind of metal it might be made of. Once you have an understanding of the details of your knife, take it and cut the apple in half. Focus on the detail inside: Β the colour, how many seeds there are etc. The more detail, the better.
4. Now, use your senses. What does the apple feel like, smell like? Bite into it and taste it. Youβre using visualisation to not only see the apple but understand everything about it, how it interacts with the world around it.
5. With regular practice, you should be able to visualise and interact with objects in your mind. Practice often with anything you like.
Thank you for reading. I am trying to write regular lessons again, so please reply or message with any witchy info you would be interested in learning!

Do you have any suggestions for offerings/ways to worship Brigid? Particularly Brigid as a pagan goddess, I know she was later included into Catholicism as a saint because pagans loved her so much! Also would love anything that focuses on low energy things as Iβm chronically Iβll and disabled! This would mean a lot to me! Iβve done lots of research on my own but brain fog can be difficult to deal with! Thank you and no rush!
Hi my love! As a disabled babe also, I get what you mean and I'd love to help out!
Offerings and Worshipping Lady Brigid

First thing I found is actually that Brigid is associated with water and springs so water would be a perfect offering
Stay hydrated!
Light a candle for her! Brigid is associated with fire!
Bonfires or food related gatherings with friends/families/partners
She is associate with the Hearth/Home. The hearth is often immediately assumed to be the kitchen as wood stoves historically provided warmth for the families but now your hearth can be wherever you feel most comfortable and at home π§‘
Eat good meals!
Celebrate imbolc! Simmer pots are a great smelling, low energy way to do that!
Florals! Flowers flowers flowers everywhere! Brigid is associated with Spring!
Wear floral scented perfumes and floral dresses or shirts
Straw/hay was actually commonly used to welcome Brigid and her gifts into the home and would make a great offering!
Brigid is a goddess of protection and fertility so if you're trying for a baby! Do it to honour her
Alternatively! Take your birth control as an offering
Practice safe sex!
Brigid is revered as a healer, so take your meds babe!
Brigid is also associated with poetry and wisdom which means reading or writing poetry in her honour is a great offering for her
Domesticated animals are also sacred to her so take care of your furry, scaly and slimy friends
Dyeing your clothes, knitting or crocheting
Brewed drinks such as coffee, tea, beer or mead
Cow imagery (especially white cows)
Practice divination

Sharing Is Caring π
Hello fellow seekers! For the past year, I have been guiding a small group in my local area on a deep exploration of the elements. Our group combines some teaching and a lot of self-study. Currently, we are delving into the element of Fire. This past weekend, I hosted a small gathering focused around candle magick with my group and I would like to share some of the basic info I covered with all of you here in Tumblr world. Please keep in mind that the info I am offering is derived from my own personal experience and practice, and within my practice practicality, simplicity, and efficiency hold great value, and I strive to embody these principles in my everyday magick. Anyway, feel free to take what resonates and leave the rest. Now, get out there and be magickal AF!

shoutout to worshippers+devotees of lesser known and less popular deities/entities, deities with less info on their worship, with less community to share and relate in your worship/devotion. who had to figure it out without much precedent or others' word or experience to help and guide and assure you
