Hello ! Todays post is on how my deities show love to me! (I guess that’s the best title for this) So I guess this an follow up to my last post I did post I did on this certain topic (link if you wanna see it) because I want to show different ways it might happen! Despite not being human, I swear our deities actually do love us (also spirit guides since Dio is one of my guides and they also often do stuff like this haha)
To get on perspective on my relationships with my deities, I have been worshiping Lord Dionysus (who’s actually gonna kinda be the main focus 😳) for over a year now. And lord ares and lady Aphrodite for 11 months (a year in October for both) so I would say that were pretty close,, I’m particularly close with Lady Aphrodite as (somewhat) unsurprisingly, she is the most affectionate and loving towards to me. She often reminds me that she’s here for me and that she loves me and all,,, which is very nice 😭
What really sparked this post was something that happened a couple days ago. So yknow I’m trying to get better at taking care of myself and doing things for my higher good (as we all should be doing) and I’m currently sick and I have been for the past few days. I also just got back from a trip and I had school work to do but while I was going it I decided stop because A. It was getting late, B. like I said, I just got back from a trip and I was tired, and C. I’m sick and it’s not good to work when you’re sick anyways 😭 When I closed my computer to go lay down and rest, I also said “Ideserve to rest” (i just talk out loud a lot when I’m by myself lol) and immediately got (the best way to describe it) a thumbs up (basically) from Lord Dionysus ! It made me feel very good about myself! Though I don’t need my deities, guides, or anyone really to back up my decisions for me to do them, it still feels very nice,,, plus it helps me know that I’m going in the right direction !

Hey everyone! Know I don’t post that much, but I just wanted to share something real quick
The gods love you! And ofc you hear that everywhere, but it really is true. I’m gonna share my experience for all the people who struggle with their thoughts and mental health
So, I haven’t been doing the best for the past month or so, and me not doing well added onto to what I’m about tell you. So a couple days ago, I got into a stupid argument, and during the argument a lot of hurtful stuff was thrown at me. Now, I knew I wasn’t in the wrong in the argument and that the hurtful things weren’t true, but they still really got to me. I then fell down the hole of self hatred and it got to the point where I was trying to convince myself that even the gods hated me. Obviously this isn’t true and I knew that, but a part of me was like “what if?” For a couple days, I stayed like that and didn’t reach out to anyone, not even my deities I worship (dw they get on me for that all the time lol). A couple days later, I started feeling better, and I thought that it would never be brought up. But today actually, I decided to (finally) get a message from Lord Ares (just a regular devotee monthly message) and even though I never even mentioned how I was feeling, Lord Ares went out his way to comfort me and tell me that he doesn’t hate me and comfort me on some other things I was worried about. Again, I never told him that I was feeling that way.
All that to say, your gods truly love and care about you. This isn’t the first time this has happened either. When I’ve been down in the past, all my deities have gone out their way to reach out to me and let me know that they are there.
Your deities watch over you, even when you don’t know! I personally don’t believe that the gods are omnipotent, but I believe that they generally know what is going on with you, especially ones you are closer with/ have more Kharis with.
Your deities love you, care about you, and watch out for you! And don’t let anyone (including your thoughts) tell you different!
Prayers to the Gods for the Palestinian people.
Keep sharing, keeping protesting, keep b0ycotting, but your prayers also have power, not just for yourself, but for others too. The Gods weep as we do at this injustice. They are just as angry as we are. The Gods will always care about injustice. Remember Xenia.

Please let them have as many joyful moments as possible— even if it's their last.
Watch over them and protect them all the way into to their final seconds
Avert evil and harm from them as much as possible
Grant them the peace of seeing their siblings and caretakers, even if it's the last time
Let them know the joys of being a child, even if it's fleeting Let them play, sing, dance
Grant them joy and grant them peace and then extend that joy, comfort, and beauty into their afterlives/ next lives, so that they won't know this fear and sorrow again.
Love and protect the children of Palestine as they are as precious as any other

Λαοσσοος (he who rallies people), make it so the people unconditionally come to their support
Beloved Ares, you are as kind as you are destructive Save your grace for the Palestinians, for you weep as much as we do for them.
But unleash your wrath on the oppressors and murderers
Make it so they never have another day of peace
That the blood on their hands stains everything they touch, polluting their lives, and so it may never wash off

Παιωνια (healer), help them use their limited medical supplies to save as many as they can. Protect the doctors and any healthcare workers, so that they may help as many as they can
Protector, Saviour, defender, please save the Palestinian people, their home, and their legacy.

To Zeus, most high, extend your endless kindness and grace to the Palestinian people.
Σωτηρ (savior) please save the Palestinian people, for their lives are as precious as any other.
For they have a culture, story and history as rich as any other.
Λαοιτης (of the people) make it so they are never forgotten and while some deem them unworthy of living, make that known to the people that that is untrue
Ελευθεριος (of freedom) make it so they will know freedom and will not be under siege any longer
Τροπαιος (turns to flight, defeats), instill in them the fighting spirit they need, and the spirit to live, so they can expel the oppressors from their land.
Παλαμναιος (punisher of murderers), make it so the oppressors can’t get away with their crime, that they never can escape from their own actions
Επιδωτης (giver of good), make it so they can find as many moments of peace and slight escape as they can, no matter how fleeting it is. Whether it be sitting with a loved one or getting a sip of fresh water, give it to them.
Θεος Αγαθος, (the good god) you as much as the other Gods teach us Xenia (hospitality, friendliness basically), to hold it close to our hearts, to hold people close to our hearts. We know you are as just as angry as we are, and we know you mourn with us. And just like you, we will let no injustice pass
No one should stay silent about this or any other injustices. Speak up, protest, share, and pray

I am still baffled that deities love me.
Low self-worth is not news for most of us, but it is easy to justify when a human friend likes or loves you, or shows kindness; they have blind spots, they're flawed, they just don't see how bad you really are, they're just too nice, on and on. Anything to argue that you are not actually worth something.
And then there's a god. This entity that is supposed to possess the wisdom of ages to an extent we can't comprehend, that has all the ability to swat you away and not want to touch you with a ten foot pole. They are good judges and in positions of power. But they like you.
How do you argue? How do you find a flaw in their logic? Where is their blind spot? They see you fully and they like what they see. You're lovable even in the eyes of divinity.
Maybe you are worth more than you think.

Haven’t tidied their altars in forever? They understand.
Don’t have the motivation to give them offerings? They get it.
You haven’t left bed for a long time? They still care about you.
Aren’t devoting time to them lately? They don’t mind
Forgot an offering? That’s alright. They forgive you.
Fucked something up? They’re not going to ditch you for your mistakes.
Decide to take a break from deity work? Totally cool, they’ll still be here for you.
Your deities understand your struggles. Even your mental health related issues. They get it, and they love you regardless. Just do your best for them, and they’ll appreciate it.

Heya friends! This post is a bit different than my normal posts, but I’ve been in a bit of a rut lately.
I’m a trans, gay Irish/Celtic pagan and folk practitioner, and I haven’t been able to find a community wherein I’m able to thrive like this. None of my friends practice paganism, and it can be hard not having folks to talk to, even though it seems so trivial. In most queer spaces, spirituality is sort of laughed off, and if anyone has any resources, or is in a similar spot as I, please let me know!
I apologize for the downer vibe of this post, but I just hope folks stay happy :D
