puzzled provides continuous and consistently high quality ✨they sleepy✨ content for your enjoyment. you're welcome :*
Literally cannot emphasize enough that my #1 writing advice is to stop being afraid. Stop being afraid of sounding too cringe, or too stupid, or too horrifying, or too horny, or too weird, or too much, or too little, or too you. You need to put your entire pussy into your art. Sure, it won't be to everyone's tastes, but if you keep yourself to the blandest tamest safest roads possible you will be of no one's tastes, not even yours.

More of Dad Yami and Baby Yugi Commission!
You know what? This is adorable and people should draw/write more about them. Baby Yugi is something we always need 🥺💖
Seasons are time markers.
They can be short... or just long enough for Atem to realise he may have the tiniest crush on his new colleague.
Between tumblers of hot (and sometimes cold) coffee, colourful pens and eager children, Atem must navigate his way through the beginning of the school year while entertaining the idea that the teacher down the hall may just as well be a better paycheck than he had hoped for.

Oh geez... 2020 *facepalms*
Well, better late than never, no? ❤️
Writing tips for long fics that helped me that no one asked for.
1.) Don't actually delete content from your WIP unless it is minor editing - instead cut it and put it in a secondary document. If you're omitting paragraphs of content, dialog, a whole scene you might find a better place for it later and having it readily available can really save time. Sometimes your idea was fantastic, but it just wasn't in the right spot.
2.) Stuck with wording the action? Just write the dialog then revisit it later.
3.) Stuck on the whole scene? Skip it and write the next one.
4.) Write on literally any other color than a white background. It just works. (I use black)
5.) If you have a beta, while they are beta-ing have them read your fic out loud. Yes, I know a lot of betas/writers do not have the luxury of face-timing or have the opportunity to do this due to time constraints etc but reading your fic out loud can catch some very awkward phrasing that otherwise might be missed. If you don't have a beta, you read it out loud to yourself. Throw some passion into your dialog, you might find a better way to word it if it sounds stuffy or weird.
6.) The moment you have an idea, write it down. If you don't have paper or a pen, EMAIL it to yourself or put it in a draft etc etc. I have sent myself dozens of ideas while laying down before sleep that I 10/10 forgot the next morning but had emailed them to myself and got to implement them.
7.) Remember - hits/likes/kudos/comments are not reflective of the quality of your fic or your ability to write. Most people just don't comment - even if they say they do, they don't, even if they preach all day about commenting, they don't, even if they are a very popular blog that passionately reminds people to comment - they don't comment (I know this personally). Even if your fic brought tears to their eyes and it haunted them for weeks and they printed it out and sent it to their friends they just don't comment. You just have to accept it. That being said - comment on the fic you're reading now, just do it, if you're 'shy' and that's why you don't comment the more you comment the better you'll get at it. Just do it.
8.) Remove unrealistic daily word count goals from your routine. I've seen people stress 1500 - 2000 words a day and if they don't reach that they feel like a failure and they get discouraged. This is ridiculous. Write when you can, but remove absurd goals. My average is 500 words a day in combination with a 40 hour a week job and I have written over 200k words from 2022-2023.
9.) There are dozens of ways to do an outline from precise analytical deconstruction that goes scene by scene to the minimalist bullet point list - it doesn't matter which one you use just have some sort of direction. A partial outline is better than no outline.
10.) Write for yourself, not for others. Write the fic you know no one is going to read. Write the fic that sounds ridiculous. You will be so happy you put it out in the world and there will be people who will be glad it exists.
Reblog if you think fanfiction is a legitimate form of creative writing.

‘I’m not going to deal with season 4 bullshit’
Work out so you can seoi-otoshi your other self once he starts making some stupid decisions like playing the seal of orichalcos
(I mean it was a good technical play considering the situation but come on, your plot armour insurance won’t cover that)
But alas- CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT ARC 💪💪

I love your puzzleshipping storys, and I would like to request 22 or 31, for a drabble if that's ok?
Hi! I'm so sorry it's taken so long to get this one done. I had a little dip in motivation and was lacking ideas for a while.
I appreciate your patience and thank you so much for your kind words <3 I know it's not as long as the others but it's just as sweet <3
I already did 22 in another ask so I went for 31 ^.^
Enjoy
31. "You lied to me"
..............................
“You lied to me.” Atem pouted as he pushed his plate away.
“How?” Yugi asked, looking up from his own food.
“You said this was nice.” Atem huffed.
Yugi laughed when Atem frowned at him.
“It is nice.” He told him, reaching out and pulling the plate toward himself. “I’ll have yours too if you don’t want it.”
Atem continued to frown at him, a small pout on his lips as Yugi continued to eat the food in front of him.
"You know." Yugi said as he looked back at Atem. "You can't live on sweets alone. You need proper food too."
"I know that, but this…" Atem shot a glare at his plate near Yugi. "This isn't nice."
"Noodles." Yugi said. "It's noodles with some vegetables."
"It's not as nice as you promised."
Yugi sighed in frustration, looking across the room at the pans he'd used to cook their meal.
"I'm really trying." He said. "You don't really like meat, spice isn't your thing either, you find the texture of pasta weird… I don't know what else to do for you."
Atem was proving to be a very picky eater and it was starting to try his patience. Of course, he loved having Atem there with him, he was glad he hadn’t left after the ceremonial duel but…this was so hard.
He looked down at his plate, pushing his food around with his chopsticks as he tried not to be too disappointed with Atems reaction to this meal.
“I’m sorry Yugi.” Atem said quietly.
Yugi hummed and continued to toy with his food, picking up a piece of broccoli and dropping it again several times.
He heard Atem move, the chair slid across the floor loudly and he bit his lip, trying not to get annoyed at the former Pharaoh.
A hand against his shoulder made him look up. Atem stood next to him, a small smile on his face.
“I really am sorry.” Atem said, his hand sliding down Yugi's arm slowly. “I know I’m being difficult and I’m sorry to keep doing this to you.”
“It’s fine.” He said, offering Atem a small smile of his own.
"No, I’ve been acting selfishly. I haven’t been thinking about you and how hard this is on you.” Atems hand rested over his hand on the table for a moment. “I appreciate you trying, and I appreciate you, my love." Atem said softly, reaching out to cup Yugi's cheek. "I might be struggling to find things I like in this world, but I know for certain that I love you."
He shook his head, turning to place a soft kiss to Atems palm.
“You’re lucky you’re so good with words.” He teased. “Otherwise I’d be so angry at you right now.”
“I deserve your anger.” Atem said, a soft laugh leaving his lips. “I have never deserved your kindness.”
Yugi laughed and pushed his chair back, standing to face Atem. He reached out to brush a stray piece of hair behind Atems ear.
“You deserve every good thing this world can give you.” Yugi said softly, smiling when Atem blushed and looked away.
“You’re too good to me.” Atem whispered, looking back at him.
“I’ll be the judge of that.” He replied.
Atem smiled and leaned closer, catching Yugi's lips in a soft kiss that stole his breath.

Summary: It's been 5 years since Atem left, now inexplicably he has returned with no clue why. He soon finds though that his new life isn't without challenges as he must now learn to accept that Yugi, while welcoming, has moved on. Complicated feelings plague him and all may not be as it seems. Can Atem learn to like Yugi's new beau? Or will his jealousy ruin everything?

Really enjoying this fic. It’s such a ride so far. It’s really taken my emotions for a ride in the best way. I’m loving it. And it’s probably one of my favorite jealous Atem stories I’ve ever read. LLAngel writes him very well, and you feel for him and his struggle to remain noble and honorable and respectful, and yet he yearns so hard.
Please give this fic a read. Please check it out and drop the author some much deserved feedback.

Thank you for everything, Kazuki Takahashi ☆
May he rest in peace.

A passing boat reported an apparent body floating off the coast of Nago City, Okinawa on July 6. The Japanese Coast Guard identified it as Kazuki Takahashi, equipped with snorkeling gear. He was 60.

Yeah, so, I have a story suggestion, and I'm working on that- but by the time I finish, I'm scared imma forget this idea so-

"How does it feel, How does it feel... Atem" Yuugi said, to himself as a tear streamed down his cheek. Knowing that he was listening. He didnt know how and why, he just knew.
Atem paused, and stared bleakly at Yuugi, ever since he came back, he was presented the option to watch whoever he knew, without communicating.
But this visit was different.
Atem could tell that Yuugi knew, and the fact that he couldnt respond pained him. He knew that the one he was closest with was in pain, he knew that Yuugi missed him, he just couldnt do anything.
"HOW DOES IT FEEL TO BE ALONE?!?! HOW DOES IT FEEL TO HAVE YOUR CLOSEST COMPANION LEAVE, AFTER BEGGING, AFTER THEY PROMISED NOT TO??? DO YOU KNOW????!!!" Atem didnt know what had happened while he was in his thoughts, but one thing was clear:
Yugi was mad
...
And he had snapped
'Yuugi... I... I didnt know you...' Atem had no idea what to say, a thousand statements were over-flowing his mind. But, it was of no use; he couldnt do anything.
"P-please I... If you really are listening then... C-come back... I didnt mean to scare you..." Yuugi staggered, his breathing was all over the place. He held his head in his arms, whispering out one thing
"Come back..."
Yuugi took a deep breath, and stood up. Somehow, facing exactly where Atem was, maybe it was because he was used to it and knew where the spirit would be, and when.
"I know, I know you can hear me. So talk." he choked on his spit.
Atem turned around, and picked up a whiteboard marker, Yuugi had a variety of these because he used them and a gigantic whiteboard to plan and jot down ideas. He did work for Kaiba Corp after all.
Yuugi looked up to see a floating marker, 'Guess I was right...' he thought.
...
'I am sorry, please forgive me, I had no other choice.' was what was being written, it took Yuugi a few seconds to make out because of the fancy and curly writing, but he understood it well enough.
He sighed,
'Sorry's not gonna cut it.' was the first response that rang into his mind. Too rude, he imediately pushed the thought away.

"How're you gonna make it up to me?"

Yugioh? In the year of 2022? Don't come for me.
