hey so when you were a child and tried to share your interests with your parents you weren’t being needy/obnoxious/over sharing. sharing things you like with people important to you is a way kids communicate love and trust. so like, even though you dont care about what your little siblings / kids / random children in your life are talking about, PLEASE just fake it till you make it
