For new readers, Mel Briar is my Gen 4 Heir and Orion’s father. He came out as trans around 10 years old and with the support of his parents and siblings, was able to socially transition before he began his physical transition right before his senior year of high school.

Mel married his high school sweetheart, Nina (after a very messy and confusing love triangle situation with his childhood best friend, Loren) and together they moved to Sulani where they raised their identical twin daughters they conceived via Science Baby.

Mel always had a love for space, astronomy and horror movies and after his big break in his early 20s, he still makes movies to this day. Now he travels with his wife Nina who helps out on set when Mel is filming. They’re very much well off and have offered countless times to help take care of Orion and Adie but Orion being Orion is stubborn and prideful and likes to think she can do it all on her own.
