Anyone interested in a lore fact? :) Today's topic- Mermaids✨

Mermaids are a magical occult species that live in hiding in open bodies of water in the mortal realm, preferably in warmer climates, such as Sulani and Tomarang. Mermaids are very curious and mischievous by nature. While they typically keep their distance from mortals, juvenile mermaids like to explore the surface and see what they can get into, which is usually trouble. What can makes them so dangerous is that they use magic to make themselves invisible to mortals. It's how they manage to survive in the mortal realm from being hunted by Pirates (aka Occult Hunters).

Adie's first contact with mermaids was when she was just a baby. She caught the eye of two juveniles, who was very intrigued with being seen by what they thought was a mortal baby. That lead to them returning that night and whisking her away to their cove. Luckily, Nora was able to lend a hand in the rescue.

Mermaids also speak their own unique language and have a bartering system, often trading with other pods for survival. If you ever find yourself in a bind with a mermaid, hopefully you know how to speak Mertalk and have something shiny to trade for ✨
