“Alrighty then.”

“Lead the way.”

“Oh really? Introduce me then.”

“Cause I don’t know if you remember, but you cause me a lot of pain and anxiety with the other bitch.”

“Now that I think, I still haven’t gotten an apology from you though.”

“You sure? I just don’t wanna be intruding on anything, case you guys had anything planned,” She replies. “But I’ll bring the chocolate though. He got any preferences?”

She doesn’t remember when was the last time she really ever went to somebody’s place. She feels a little nervous about it but shrugs it off.

“But yeah, I’m old enough to be somebody’s dead great-grandma or something like that, but honestly, I’m not sure if I should be keeping track of this.”

She sighs. Sometimes time is so weird when someone thinks they’ve known something all their life, then the next thing that happens is finding out it isn’t what it intentionally was. It’s happened a bit in her experience and she knows it will continue to happen more. Sometimes she finds it easier to step out and look at it from a different angle. Sometimes that doesn’t work but nothing can be done, except stay back until you understand it a little bit better.

(Not mention having his fair share of run ins with heroes, Devils, and Gods. He’s not sure which one of the latter two he should call Knull, though.

“....I left and went back to Okinawa and for the most part, I isolated myself from the news and media, so I didn’t hear anything about it.”

“Whenever I deal with shit like that, I go far away from it and I stay away from anything it’s associated with it,” she says admitting her coping mechanism, first starting after her death she left the school. 

“If I tried to go back, the memories just come back all the time. It would just end up giving me panic attacks every day and I hate living like that.”

“Even if I did come back to the states, back to you, it wouldn’t be the same, and all I would be doing is constantly worrying about whether or not it would’ve happened again or worse.”

“I’m sorry, I didn’t trust you then, I should’ve checked if anything happened after I left, but I was clouded by all my anxiety and fear. Honestly, if you think half of what I’m saying is selfish, I don’t blame you.”

*Takes the last bite*

“Let’s go. I’m ready to make someone my personal Halloween decoration”

“Or just a medical prop for students. Who knows.”

“Alrighty then.”

“Lead the way.”

“Oh yes indeed. ”

“Can we grab something to eat on the way though? I’m kinda hungry for cake now.”
