You poke a sleeping lion and its reaction will vary. Maybe it will ignore you, or maybe it'll swat away the nuisance, or maybe it will feel the need to defend itself from an attack. But, as soon as you chose to poke, you abandoned your own boundaries, and your DNI became a moot point. You chose to bring your behavior to them and shoved it in their face. Interactions are inevitable.

I'm tired of people hiding behind their DNIs like it's an acceptable excuse to talk shit about people.
