I don't even care anymore.

Rain pouring relentlessly

Sea breeze whispering to me

All the secrets of the night

Moonbeam reaching your eyes

Stardust before me

As I smile

And forget who we are

For a while

I simply stopped caring

The wind as it sings

Brings back my silent screams

All words I longed to breathe

Before you

Wishing they'll calm you

As your storm blows

Belligerently

Reminding me of the long December night

Footsteps breaking

My solitude

I don't care now

If you leave, just leave

Like an autumn leaf

But you told me stories. Of long nights ending, cold dawn being subdued by warm sheets, and tangled limbs, shower of kisses and promises. Oh you told me, perhaps too much. That as I stare longer at the coffee spilled on my desk, your face is formed. Honestly, everything around me bears your image. The rough walls, the stains time carved against the door, the clouds in the blue sky. You haunt me wherever I go. For you told me stories. Of love blossoming in unlikely places. Now even the freckles in my cheeks bear your name.

Because you told me stories that has taken their niche in my brain.
