You Came To Me In The Most Unexpected Time. Now I Can't Read A Book Without Hearing You; Can't Write
You came to me in the most unexpected time. Now I can't read a book without hearing you; can't write a poem without feeling you. I breathe you between the lines; ink you like a treasured memory. And as I close my eyes I see you behind my lids: alive and vivid. You used to be a dream I hold in my sleep. Now you're a reality that makes me excited to wake up for you make me fall in love.
You make me fall in love,
Katie, 21:30

You are the fire, my love. And you keep burning in my mind. You are among the embers; among the smoke. You are everywhere, filling me up. You are blazing and alive, my love. Even when you're not physically here.
Katie, 11:00
Ours is not a romance. It is a tragedy. History made it so. Not to tell a lesson. But to make people feel...feel something. Love is not always good for the heart. It is not always butterflies in the stomach, or a bouquet of freshly picked roses. It is a game that we have to play sometimes. Even though the rules are not always fair and you have to die a death you don't deserve to give life to the other. You can't complain. Nor file an appeal. That's not how it works. For the jury, it doesn't always give its verdict in favor of the hopeless romantic. The judge passes your sentence with the pound of his gavel. And the next thing you know, you're being thrown in a faraway dungeon. No, it is not a romance at all. History has its own messy twists, don't you think? And love...it is not always blissful. So if you have to drink from that cup, make sure you are capable of enduring unspeakable things. For that's the essense of everything love has ever put forth for the sake of its own godly name.
-Love isn't always good for the hopeless romantic,

My hands feel my chest
Tear my heart out
It's made of paper
Everything around me
Is made of paper
So I started tearing
Myself apart
Lost my soul in the rustle
Of dreams being torn apart
I pick the shrieking fragments
Throw them at the corner
The sight made me shudder
A mountain of shredded papers
That once contain memories
Of cold November
I reach for my head
Tear my mind into pieces
A paper inked with promises
I can't forget
I pulled out a lighter
Set it on fire
Watch the flame rises
Up in the sky
Then I sit quietly
In the corner grieving
With the mountain of papers
I shredded with my wrath
My fingers claw my eyes
As I sob like a child
Cursing the heavens
For the last time
-heart of paper, Katie

From the ashes
She moves
She rises
A goddess waking
Wait for it
