I had so much fun redrawing that scene from Coraline I figured I’d try it again. This time Tangled is the movie and this is from the “Mother Knows Best reprise” scene. I thought it fit these two ESPECIALLY in the human disguise au. Also I have seen people asking what the human disguise au is about and I promise I have been working on a proper summary for it. I have a lot of trouble explaining things and putting my thoughts on paper sometimes. I’ll put out a short summary soon until I figure out a more in depth one but I’m I keep posting about it and you guys want context 😭 it’s coming. and i don't mean it in the sense that "oh he's an alternate so he's not supposed to feel anything in the first place" (though that's ALSO important and worth freaking out over!! because those feelings are FOREIGN to him and the fact that jonah of all people managed to bring them out in him... that means a lot). but also because of the reaction alternates have towards human screaming. they're drawn to it. thrilled at the sound of it. we see it with the hand hallway where adam isn't fazed in the slightest (he's happy even). we see it during vol 2 where the screams coming from the house lure him out because of excitement

so for him to hear the sound of human suffering and feel really bad about it instead of joy? it means everything
