In The Resurrectionists, In The Scene Where The Surgeon Calls Crowley Doctor, Crowley Actually Becomes
In The Resurrectionists, in the scene where the surgeon calls Crowley Doctor, Crowley actually becomes the Doctor for a moment.
While Dalrymple is wiping blood off his hands, Crowley tells him to consider washing them, and that "it'll be all the rage in a few years." Crowley might know about germs, but he's not a time traveler. He's always seemed slightly surprised and bemused by the course of human events, not casually predicted them.
That's just exactly something the Doctor would say, though.

Is that a promise, Doctor?

(x)
Haven't seen it mentioned in any Doctor Who reference roundups, but I can't be convinced that David yelling TEN!! and then assuming the regeneration position before exploding lightning wasn't one

Me [holding an Aziraphale doll in one hand and a Crowley doll in the other]
Me: now kiss
Me: now engage in open and honest communication with good eye contact, active listening, and empathetic perspective-taking
Me: now relish in the relief and comfort of allowing yourselves to be vulnerable, to speak your deepest truths, to be truly known and truly to know another with all the love and joy it brings
Me: ok now kiss again
