ummm blehhhhConsidering the entire half life series basically takes place over the course of around.. probably 5-6 days from Freeman's eyes, there is a very high likelihood that if the Resonance Cascade never happened, at around the same time Freeman was watching an Advisor suck out the brains of his former colleague and close friend Gordon would have been enjoying his weekend after a monotonous work week in the lab. Around the time he brought about the end of the Nihilanth's species by singlehandedly slaying its only remaining specimen he would've probably been clocked out and fast asleep. While evading his first Metrocop pursuit he would've probably been preparing for another busy workday analysing samples. By the time he would have wandered the arctic he would've been riding the tram. Do I need to keep going

May 14th, 201(?) I could never remember my dreams until recently. I’m not sure what changed, but I often wake up with vivid images and sounds in my head now. Last night I had a dream that I was in an empty train station, similar to the one I've used to get back home from work, yet it was completely empty. I kept hearing voices, yet no one was there aside from myself. It was dark out, with not even the moon or stars visible; a hollow void above my head. I couldn’t recall why I was there, or what I was waiting for. A man appeared by my side, though I did not look to see who it was, as if I could not look away from the train tracks. His horrid, choked voice spoke into my ear, words dissonant yet clear in my head. “Are you lost?” It asked me, “Where will you go?” I never answered him. I woke up in a cold sweat and cried. I didn’t have the answers to his questions, did I?
