Little doodle of Reeve, Matthias’ mentor, dear friend, and first oracle to one of the big gods (Clover). To meet her is to fall in love. :)
Hey real quick, I wanna check out something. I've been talking to a few friends who live in a different country and they told me it's normal for houses to have bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms over there. (Not saying where.)
[Definition in case it's needed: an en-suite bathroom is a complete bathroom, with at least a toilet, a sink, and a shower, which is accessed directly from a bedroom and is usually only used by the people who sleep in that bedroom.]
So here's my question: in your country, in normal dwellings (i.e.: houses, flats, apartments, etc, not hotels and such), is it normal to have en-suite bathrooms?
As usual, reblog for reach, and tag with your country / area and yes or no.
Second Metroid game in a row where I got almost to the final boss and decided that was good enough. XD I really don’t like boss fights, like, at all. Too much pressure and also YOU try targeting a fast moving tiny weak spot with 1/10 of an eye! XD I will fight bosses if I must but with Dread and now Prime I knew I wasn’t going to put myself through all that. XD
Metroid Prime Remastered is really good though. Brings the number of first person games I've played up to… three. :D Maybe five if you wanna count that time I played 2 hours of Half-Life 2 or my midnight attempt at the original Doom in 1998 where I scared the shit out of myself (it was a different time).
Now to forget I have a gaming console for the next two months until something interesting that was popular years ago catches my interest. :D
Absolutely nobody: ...
Me: (literally 30 years late to the fandom) Guys have you heard about these Metroid games?!
I feel this and also raise you being weirdly knowledgable about obscure-ish true crime stuff that isn't reported because it's too awful. So every time I read a book and they're like "the villain is bad for stabbing a dude this one time" or "omg he killed this one person's relative and it was a quick, painless death but omg!" I'm just like "you tried sweetie, but chances are high I agree with the ideals of the villain and they've almost certainly killed less people than your protagonist". XD
Being a history nerd makes reading dystopias or crime novels kind of sad tbh. The author is like 'these people are awful!! Sometimes... they... KILL people!!!' And I'm like 'hmm. I've been on a deep dive into the shit that went on in Chile in the 70s and 80s, do you need like... some ideas?'
