Stark Enterprises found itself under attack yet again. 

It was right in the middle of a meeting, so atleast most of the avengers were present.

“You can’t just throw your knives, you’ll run out of weapons!” Nat yelled, blocking one of the intruders by kicking its chest. 

“IT’S A TUESDAY, I WASN’T PREPARED FOR GIANT ANT-ALIENS!” you shrieked, throwing the last of your daggers at the creature who was closing in on you. It planted itself in one of its eyes, automatically disintegrating its body to dust.

More of them were now circling, obviously sensing your vulnerability. 

But when one opened its mouth, only a scream came out. The insects before you faded away into green dust, and there stood Loki with a smug smile.

“Always have to have a dramatic entrance, don’t you?” you asked, rolling your eyes.

cheol - would realise you stopped instantly and would stand looking behind you to make sure noone was coming (and then lift you by your arm when u stood back up)

jeonghan - idk why i think he would place his hand on your head when you were crouched down and continue talking and then smile at you when you were done ("lets go!")

joshua - he would notice before you that your shoelace was untied "do you want me to tie that for you?" (so you wouldnt have to bend over)

jun - you pointed it out and you would crouch down together, him infront of you to help you tie your shoelace but you would bump heads making you both giggle

hoshi - wouldn't even notice until you weren't reacting to his story he was super into so he would look around while turning in a circle looking everywhere like (ʘ⁠ᗩ⁠ʘ⁠’) until you caught back up with him

wonwoo - the convo you were having would stop and he would just stand there in silence looking ahead while glancing at you and then after you started walking again he would mention that he liked your outfit today

woozi - would calmly mention that your shoelace is undone which made you weirdly self conscious... and then he'd just look around making small talk while you were tying it

dk - would walk ahead like 3 steps before realising then turn back and be like ahhh let me do it for you! and hurridly slap your hands away while saying something like "my princess needs a favour from her prince! her prince would do anything for his love" and then put his hand out to help you up

mingyu - i think he would either not realise until he tried to grab your hand and then whip around and start running back OR you wouldnt be doing it fast enough for him so he'd sigh and do it instead (actually slower than you were doing it) and then retie the other shoe "just in case" while you were stood there with ur arms crossed

minghao - would move you out of the way of others even though noone was around you and crouch and pat his thigh making you put your foot there so he could tie it while you held his shoulder for balance. he would smile while dusting off his trousers and make sure noone was coming so you could carry on walking

seungkwan - would kind of scold you while you bent down to tie it ("why didn't you double knot it?" "i did.." "well then why is it undone?") but then he would hold out his hand to help you back up while sighing

vernon - would suddenly go "AH! your shoelace!" in the middle of conversation and shove his hand out infront of you to stop you so he could tie it for you which made you jump so he apologises and says he just noticed (realising how similar this is to when he had a bug on his hand in that gose ep)

dino - would complain because he was the one who tied them before you went out and you would have to reassure him that it was the shoes not his tying ability and he would pat? your foot after doing it and say "okay that should be all good now!" like a dad or something idk

the frost from the cold tile beneath you both was warded off with his fluffy socks and your work shoes.

you slowly rocked your body weight from side to side as guided by sunoo.

your boyfriend’s hands were lazily placed around your middle as your own played with the hair behind his neck. there was still sleep in his playful eyes, and his dark chocolate locs looked like antennae - as if he was trying to tune into the radio.

it was his idea in the first place, to dance before you had to leave for work, but now he appeared to long for a bed.

“yes, but, we both know you’re a terrible dancer.”

“hey! yes i am! i just haven’t had anything to drink.” you snicker, whacking his chest hard enough for his droopy eyes to turn attentive.

“exactly, and you’re not drinking at 5:30 in the morning.” he brings you closer and rests his head on top of yours, “i still don’t understand why you choose to get up this early every morning.”

“i have to. morning traffic is the worst.”

his nods cause your head to move as well and you stifle a laugh. you look up at him and he looks down at you, locking you both in a staring battle of who can look more tired.

“go to back to sleep sunoo, i’ll see you tonight.” you smile and kiss him softly before letting go. he pouts but nod. sunoo doesn’t leave his spot until he hears the door close.

sunoo slumps his way to the bedroom and cuddles in under the duvet, before falling asleep and dreaming of nothing. (except you).

like he's cool on the outside but anyone who knows him knows that he's losing it over how much he loves you

tbh even people who don't know him all that well can see very recognizable heart eyes

he just looks at you with so much adoration and fondness and it SHOWS <333

sometimes when you're speaking to him, especially about things you're passionate about, there will be pauses before he responds

it's not because he isn't listening. it's the complete opposite !!

he's so immersed in your thoughts, your voice, your movements, your words, that he has to find his way back to earth before he can speak

and honestly, if it weren't for the fact that it proves to you he is listening and encourages you to continue speaking, he'd stay completely silent during times like these

even the slightest of hugs leave you feeling completely wrapped up in his embrace. he holds you with so much care and attention that even a light brush of his hand on your shoulder makes you feel so wonderfully warm

You don’t mean to stare. You really don’t. But it becomes inevitable, especially in cases like this wherein the sun is hitting his hair and face in all the right places, perhaps giving anyone that has spared him a glance the impression that he is actually glowing.

Seungkwan continues to look through his phone, not paying you any attention as he scans along the pictures you’ve taken of him moments ago. You don’t know why he’s scrutinizing them so much, as you’re sure that he’s a lot more photogenic than he thinks (and as you are; as much as you hate to admit it, he is) and so whenever your boyfriend also forgets to initiate taking your picture in return as quickly as you want him to, you choose to just wait patiently and admire the real thing in front of your eyes instead of getting slightly annoyed.

“Have I ever told you that yellow is really your color?” you say all of the sudden, pertaining to the polo cover up he’s sporting, and that cuts him off from his focus, his gaze flickering to yours. “You look really handsome today.”

He smirks, even chuckles at the compliment. “You say that every time you take a pic of me.”

“That’s because it’s true.”

“I bet it is, honey,” he jokes, leaning towards you a bit to grant your lips a quick kiss of thanks.

You grin at the gesture, your feet stepping forward and your arms also inevitably wrapping themselves around his torso for an added act of affection while he continues to concentrate on his gallery. He lets you do what you want, his own arm landing on your shoulders once you’re settled on your new position.

After a while—too soon, you frankly think—Seungkwan speaks again. “Okay. Your turn.”

“Hm?”

He gently forces you to untangle yourself from him. “Your turn for the picture. Stand here by the railing.”

You understand then, and comply with what he’s instructing you.

One thing more about Seungkwan is that he is also a much better photographer than you are. You reckon that you only began being good in the first place when you started dating him as well; he knows all the good angles and the right frame ratio to produce a stunning picture. Though undoubtedly his best quality as your newfound photographer is how he’s not one to shy away from hyping your best features and boosting your confidence, always grinning at you and saying how pretty you look.

It makes you blush and feel like a kid sometimes, but you appreciate it, and most of the time, it also produces the most natural looking smiling pictures you have in your own phone album.

“Perfect,” he says as he approaches you after taking the last shot. “I think I deserve an Americano with how amazing I took the pictures.”

You snort, checking the photos as well. “Is that supposed to be a hint for me to treat you?” Your eye catches one picture that you’d like to post on your Instagram as you’re swiping left.

“Naturally.” His arm goes back to its previous place on your shoulders. “I’ll buy you a slice of cheesecake in return.”

“That somehow sounds like a fair deal.”

“That’s because it is a fair deal.”

“So, I buy the drinks and you buy the dessert?”

“Yup.”

“Hm, okay.” You grin at him then. “Let’s go. I want to sit down.”

He laughs and nods, lifting his arm up to go reach for your hand, swinging it between the both of you while you head to the nearest café.

the gloomy skies seemed to have darkened by the minute as the droplets of rain pattered against the bus stop’s rooftop. your tear stained cheeks burnt more than ever, breathing ragged from who you thought to be the love of your life to tell you that your relationship was over. you swore every moment you had spent with her was full of light and grace. you were so sure you'd spend your lifetime with the female you deemed to love you wholeheartedly.

in all honesty, you weren't even in the slightest surprised that she’d end it with you as you already noticed her interest in you beginning to decline immensely. she began coming home later than ever, sometimes arriving by the crack of dawn before going back out to whoever knows. her replies were shorter and more seldom, sometimes it would take her days to reply to a simple “good morning”. your relationship was becoming hopeless and you had no idea how to salvage it.

a ray of hope glimmered when she suddenly asked you out on a dinner date in your favourite restaurant for your 4-month anniversary. excitement pulsed through your veins; perhaps this was the road of recovery for your so-called hopeless relationship? you hastily got ready, wearing the prettiest suit you could find before wearing the sheer lipstick she had once bought you. every time you wore that specific shade, she’d compliment you profusely.

you took a cab with the brightest smile on your face, texting your friends how happy you were that she’d finally ask you out on a date after weeks of being distant. the happiness radiating off you was even noticed by the cab driver, who you’d delightfully explain to her that it was your 4-month anniversary and your girlfriend had asked you out on a date. of course, you had to brag about how loving and charming your girlfriend was even if you knew it was all fabricated.

arriving at the restaurant, you tipped the driver as she wished you a happy 4 months anniversary. you were ecstatic about the whole ordeal, feeling it to somehow be more of a fantasy than you’d like to admit it to be so. you sat at the table reserved under her name, awaiting her arrival. one minute turned to thirty minutes, thirty minutes turned into an hour and before you knew it, the restaurant was already closing. the waitresses and waiters escorted you out of the restaurant, flashing apologetic smiles since they could tell what had happened. you had been ditched and possibly, dumped.

you dragged your legs with all the might you could, tears threatening to spill as you bite your lip to contain your sobs. you walked to wherever your limbs could bring you and that being some random bus stop that felt too familiar — but you couldn’t care less. you sat down on the bench, realising rain had begun pouring the second you settled yourself down. your phone vibrated, indicating a text message had been sent. oh god. you were not the slightest bit excited for what was to come as you slid out your phone from your front pocket.

“hi yn. we’re breaking up. I don’t feel the same way I used to.” were the words displayed on your lockscreen sent from your one and only girlfriend. the tears the you had been holding back finally let themselves free as you realised the only reason she had asked you out was only to embarrass you and hurt you further. you never knew one could be so cruel until you met her.

sounds of sneakers hitting against the wet pavement came into hearing and a male panting as he presumably ran through the rain could be heard as well. however, you made no effort to turn your head and observe whoever was beside you at the moment. you were too engrossed with your sob story to even begin to care for whoever was taking heavy breaths next to you.

“yn?” the stranger beside you asked, making your head snap towards him. your eyes widened in pure shock, seeing your ex who you ended off on good terms a couple months prior to your current — well, last — relationship. it was definitely awkward, as the two of you never bothered to reach out to each other during the early moments of your break up. you figured you’d never meet him again since seoul was quite a large city.

yet here he was, under the random bus stop you decided to camp at for your sorrowful heart to be unleashed, only to be interrupted by the presence of nishimura, the menace who used to prank you everytime he had the chance to. he flashed you an awkward version of the boxy smile he used to show you everytime he was happy to meet you, which said quite a lot in this context.

“what are you doing here?” the question came out a little harsher than you expected, not that you had any self control from the recent break up you had just gone through. riki raised his hands in defeat, surprised at how harsh you were even though you two had finally met again.

“I should be asking that question. this is my bus stop home, remember?” he stated nonchalantly, as if the info from months ago was supposed to stick to your brain. you scoffed, nodding before going back to being immersed in your sorrows.

the male sat down beside you, plugging in his earphones since it was common knowledge that riki was really bad at comforting others. you continued to silently cry over the break up, going over every moment when the two of you were together to see what, exactly, went wrong.

a bus pulled over in front of the two of you as the male beside you stood up. before you realised, a hand reached out to yours before pulling you up. you stared at him in shock, yet again. he smiled again. this time relaxed and less nervous than the smile he had shown you before. “I may be bad at comforting people, but I can’t just let you cry here all alone.”
