That should be him, he thought.

As his dark grey eyes landed on you and your fiancé slow dancing in the wedding hall, Levi couldn't clear the envious feeling that has been suffocating him for a while now. He, the one who has been your best friend, he, the one who has supported you through thick and thin, he the one who dried your tears whenever your lover would cancel your dates for work...Levi has always been the one who stood next to you through the hardest and difficult times.......only to be met with utter disappointment at the end... Was it worth it? Was fighting for your love all this time worth the tremendous pain he was inflicted with? Because at the end of the day, you would never be his to love. But all Levi ever wanted was for you to be happy; he only hoped to see you smile every day until the day you die. Even if your smiles and 'i love yous' were not meant for him, Levi wished you the best.

After finishing his glass of wine, he stood up, and with one final glance at you and Eren, he left. Loving you was a losing game that he was addicted to. A game that he was willing to bet all his fortune on even if the outcome would still be a failure. But Levi was sure of one thing: you were a choice with no regret.

"You've got a pencil?"

You looked up from your Sociology book to stare at a pair of deep emerald eyes.Standing infront of you was no other than Eren Jaeger in the flesh,also known as the school fuckboy.

Personally,you didn't really appreciate the way other people portrayed him to be when you first saw him.But gradually you have come to the sad realisation that Eren,indeed,was just a walking dick who only played with girls' feelings and isn't the type to commit himself to a silly love relationship.

Nevertheless,you always treated him as a friend.A few years later,you guys ended up being so close that other people even believed that you were romantically attached.It wasn't the case though.You both saw each other as best friends and nothing more.

Or so you thought.

As the days flew by,you started to come to the conclusion that this little friendship is slowly turning into something warmer.Those long walks from the school to your house were no longer the same as it was before.Eren would always interwine his hands with yours.Or would wrap one arm around your waist and hold you close while whispering how you looked amazing during your school presentations to reassure your anxiety.

Unfortunately,you knew that Eren didn't like you in any romantic way.He only saw you as a friend.Not that you could blame him though.You didn't even think of yourself as a beautiful girl that could attract the attention of everyone in a room,you weren't the girl that would be on everyone's story whenever your birthday was near.

You were just a plain infamous girl whose only friend was the most popular guy of the school.But you were grateful to have him.Even though he didn't love you,he still cherished you unlike other people.

"HELLOOOOOOO!!!!"

You were suddenly brought back to reality after hearing Eren shouting to your face.

"O-oh..uh...what were you saying?"you nervously scratched your nape.

"I was asking you if you've got a pencil to lend me.I forgot my pencil case at home and I have Art classes in a few minutes."Eren answered,slowly.

"Oh yes sure.. Wait I have a few pens that I can give you in case yo-"you felt two fingers pressed to your lips.

"Shhh princess..I just need a pencil for drawing,that's all."he said while taking a pencil from your pencil case and was about to rush to his class but before doing so,he turned around and said,

"There's a party at Mikasa's place.You're coming with me tonight,no buts"

The music was blazing and you felt like your ears were about to explode.You couldn't quite distinguish whether you were at a classmate's house or whether you were at a nightclub at this point.Students were drinking and some were even doing drugs near a corner.It's nearly impossible to keep track of how many times you have encountered people kissing or fucking in different rooms of Mikasa's gigantic mansion.

You were not exactly the party type;so you didn't feel adjusted here and wanted to leave.But before you did so,you had to look for the person who brought you here : Eren.

After roaming around the house for about an hour or two,the green eyed boy was still no where to be found.So you took our your phone and dialled his number.No response.

Luckily,you spotted a familiar figure with his hair tied in a messy bun and sighed with relief.You walked towards his direction and had come to realise that Eren was lying on the sofa,completely drunk with girls all around him.

"Eren,can you please bring me back home?I'm tired" you said,trying to draw his attention.

He looked up to you with his sleepy eyes

"Heyyy babe.You don't like the party?"he slurred,wrapping his arms around your waist.

"Eren I'm going back home.And I think that you should too."you grabbed his hand and guided him to the door.

"BUTTTT I'M HAVING FUNNNN"he shouted in your ears,causing you to slap him in the face.

You harshly grabbed his hand and threw him into the backseat of his car.Given the fact that Eren was completely drunk,you couldn't allow him to take control of the car.You,therefore,made up your mind to drive by yourself.

You sat in the driver seat and was about to start the engine after putting on your safety belt,but then you heard some sniffles coming from the backseat.You turned around and saw Eren,eyes full of tears.

"Eren...What happened?Why are you crying?"you grabbed his red and puffy face.

"W-why did you slap me.You don't wove me anymor-more"he cried.

His action melted your heart and you couldn't stay mad at him.

"Of course I love you Eren,"you said,"I'm sorry for slapping you..It's just that you were being a bad boy and I had to stop you."you pinched his cheeks playfully.

"M'okayyyyyyy,"he dried his tears,"gimme your haaanndddd"

He grabbed your left hand,pulled it towards him and kissed it multiple times.You felt your heart fluttered.

Suddenly,he looked at your hand in awe,and his eyes told you that he was slowly coming back to his sober self.

"You know,"he started,"there is this one girl whom I wished I could hold her hand like this."

Your smile was quickly wiped off upon hearing him.

'Of course he would love someone . It's not as if I stood a chance.'

"Is THE Eren Yeager simping for someone?"you tried to sound jolly and ignore the burning pain in your chest.

"Yeah,she is amazing.I wished I could muster the courage to confess to her,"he smiled softly,while caressing your hand.

You quickly removed your hand from his grasp.

"Well,why don't you do it? I'm sure that she will say yes."you managed to fake a smile.

"I don't think so.She only sees me as a friend."he sighed.

You quickly started the engine.

"Either way,she's really lucky to have someone like you to fall for her."

Your eyes focused on the road,not noticing a pair of green eyes instantly gazing at you.

"By the way,what's her name?"you asked,nonchalantly.

He paused.

"Mikasa."

Is it bad that you wished he was talking about you instead?

You couldn't help but felt your heart sink.You tried your best to keep your cool,even though your heart was tearing into pieces.

But Eren was your bestfriend.Your main concern was his happiness,even though it wasn't with you.

"Oh cool,"you sadly smiled,"I heard that she did have a crush on you in the past,so she'll definitely accept your pro-"

"YOU'VE GOT TO BE FUCKING KIDDING ME!"

You were startled by Eren's sudden outburst and reflectively stopped the machine.

"Is there something wrong?What happened?Eren are you okay?"you were interrupted by Eren,who without wasting time, violently crashed his lips onto yours.

You couldn't feel straight.You didn't understand what was going on.Your mind went blank and you felt like it wasn't working and was sending signals to all of your nerves and muscles to make you physically react to the situation you were in,but still your body wasn't moving one inch.

Eren then started to nibble at your lower lips.He was kissing you with an intensity,with a feeling that you couldn't quite comprehend.Was that what people call passion?You couldn't tell.It was the first time that your body has ever felt this way.It was the first time that you have ever felt this attention,this warmth,this.....love.

It was after a good while that Eren removed his lips away from your puffy ones.He slowly opened his eyes and looked at you.

"Y/N.It's you,idiot."he said.

Your tears automatically started to cascade down your shocked face when you saw the sincerity in his eyes.The love that they were showing while admiring your crying face.

"Why did you say Mikasa?"you wiped your tears stained face.

"I wanted to know your reaction.You didn't look mad though,"he answered,sadly.

"Why would I be? I want you to be happy regardless of whether I'm the source of that happiness,"you smiled at him.

"And that's one of the millions of reasons why i love you"he returned your smile and peck your lips.

You both sat,wrapped in each other's arms while listening to the heavy raindrops that were showering your car.

"It's raining.We'll have to wait for the weather to calm down before entering your house."You said.

"Or maybe we can stay here and cuddle until tomorrow comes."Eren said while pinching your cheeks.

You laughed and got onto the backseat and stayed there,in his arms,while listening to the song that was playing on the radio.

You laid your head on his shoulder while he played with your hair and kissed your forehead.

"Y/N?"you heard Eren's soft voice.

"Yes?"

He looked at you.

"It was always you.And it will always be you."

Sukuna x Reader

𝕭𝖊𝖜𝖆𝖗𝖊: 𝐍𝐨𝐧𝐞

Ryomen Sukuna was the King of Curses.He was labelled as a monster by other peasants but was also worshipped as a God,receiving offerings so that the King could protect them from other curses in return.

He would received expensive clothes kneaded with rare linen,he would receive the first harvest of everyone's crop.He would also receive new women everyday to join his already full harem.But he needed a Queen.

Or so that's what his counselors advised to him,because he needed a a powerful heir to expand his kingdom to the whole world.

But who was worthy enough to bear his child?Definitely none of the women who are being presented to him right now seem strong enough to control a kingdom by his side.Apart from their figures and their beautiful faces,they looked so scared at the thought of even coming near him.How are they supposed to reign a Palace?Do they even know how to use a sword?

The 45th women has been presented to him,and yet the King's boredom hasn't vanished.

"My King,all of the women who were bound to be your Queen have already been presented to you."His servant,said to him.

Sukuna looked wearied.

"I see"

After saying those words,a frail looking girl dressed in a white flowery dress with braided dark hair rushed into the kingdom.She was stopped by the entrance guards but then showed them what seemed like a piece of paper.It was inevitably the announcement letter that the King had published to look for a woman capable of being his Queen as the soldiers allowed her in upon seeing the paper.

All of the other women were mocking her.If they were not able to capture the interest of the King even though they were gifted by an ethereal beauty,how can this mere farmer girl earn the respect of Ryomen Sukuna?

The girl bowed infront of Sukuna,trying hard not to lose her balance and gave him a basket of hot buns and croissants.

"Sorry I'm late,Your Majesty,"she said,mouthful of buns,in a small voice that almost made Sukuna's heart melt.Almost.

"Are you among the list of women that were supposed to come here?"Sukuna asked,staring down on the small looking girl infront of him.

"Yes.I came here to be the Queen.I mean if I can be the Queen.You can appoint me with any position you want,sir.As long as food is within reach"she said,ignoring the roar of laughter from the people of the kingdom.

"I am sorry for wasting your time my King.I didn't know that such a discourteous woman would hav-"the servant was interrupted when he saw the King stand up from his throne.

Sukuna walked towards the girl who was still bowed down,and grabbed her by her hair.

But what he did afterwards shocked everyone.Sukuna lowered himself to the point of sitting on his feet,and stared at the woman infront of him.

At first,he was amused with the way she was talking to him,unlike the other people who would be too frightened to even breath the same air as him.She treated him as a King and as a friend at the same time.

But after taking a good look at her face,he realised that she was far more beautiful than anyone he has ever seen during his reign.He has met a lot of women,slept with more people than even he could keep track of.Still,none of them could catch his interest.

You knew that you didn't stand a chance against the King.You didn't think of yourself as a woman beautiful enough to attract the stare of humans,say the least of a curse.

You also came from a poor family and wore modest clothes.You were not used to behaving courteously with the most exquisite behavior.

"Y-your Majesty,yo-your hold on my hair hurts,"you said,trying hard to sound as polite as possible.

Sukuna released your hair and grabbed your jaw instead,his deep eyes piercing inside of yours,as if he wants to know what you are thinking.

"Be my Queen,"he said,looking at you in pure admiration.

You couldn't believe it.

"Really?"you asked,eyes fixated to the demon's crimson ones.

"Do I look like I'm joking,human?"Sukuna growled.

"B-but y-your Majesty..Look at her.She doesn't look capable of being a Queen not only because of her social class but also because of her plain-looking appea-"his servant was cut off.

"Return all of the other women to their respective homes. There shall be no one except me near the Queen."Sukuna said.

"Also,whether she's good enough for you doesn't matter,"Sukuna said,eyeing the rude servant up and down.

"As long as she is perfect to me"

"But where are you going?" You desperately clutched to his white kimono,which was as soft as his hair

"Somewhere far away....."he sadly said

"But....why?"you asked,voice cracking..

He turned around with a smile and said

"Because-"

You suddenly woke up,startled by the shout of your name.So,it was all just a dream.Megumi came towards you and sat on your bed,

"Uh?W-what happened?"you asked with a weak voice.

"Y/N-sensei,are you sick?You want me to brew you some te-"

The door was slammed open.

"Y/N-CHAN!!YOU WOKE UP!!!ARE YOU OKAY!?"

You laughed when you saw that it was just your colleague Gojo,who was asking for your well being,something he does on extremely rare occasions...You couldn't help but feel bad at the same time when you saw his face red and hair shrivelled.

But in all honesty,even you couldn't tell whether you were in a healthy state right now,considering that you woke up from what seemed like an everlasting sleep,without even remembering how you got into your room.

"H-hehe...well to be honest,I don't really know if I'm okay..I'm a bit discombobulated myself" you sighed.

Gojo sat on your bed,an action that signalled Megumi to quit the room.

You were completely flustered when Gojo pulled you into a warm hug.He clasped you in his arms as if you were in your deathbed and abandoning him.

"I'm sorry I zoned out...I should have paid more attention to what was happening around us.. I didn't know that he was going to target you.I-i," he was rambling words.The whole situation with Sukuna charging at you threw him in such a swivet.

But still,you managed to comfort him with a reassuring smile.

"It's okay,Gojo-chan.I came out unscathed.See?,"you proceeded to show him how your arms and legs were unhurt.

"Even though,I should have been more careful.What if you were actually hurt?What if he killed you?What if yo-,"

"Gojo,"you interrupted him.. "I told you that it was fine..None of this is your fault.I was lost in my musings and didn't notice him until I was in Sukuna's grasp"

Gojo looked apologetic but just nodded

"So...what happened after that?"you were suddenly curious about what happened after your encounter with Sukuna.

"You passed out..."Gojo replied while handing you a cup of tea freshly prepared by Megumi.

" 's all?"you asked.

"Yeah..Did you wanted to die or something?"your colleague jokingly said

"Maybe it wouldn't have been that bad..At least I would no longer have to deal with your bullshit" you retorted sassily.

"Haha..stop acting like I'm a vermin..I know you love me," he winked at you.

You rolled your eyes at his childishness...Gojo was such a nice person with whom you could confide all of your secrets.You guys were basically childhood friends.Always joking around and chasing demonic curses together. You both promised that you would die together.

"You should eat something.. I prepared Sukiyaki for you."he took out a bowl that was on a table just next to your nightstand and gave it to you.

"Thank you..It means a lot"you said

"Anything for you.."

You were about to savour your dish when you heard Gojo's voice

"You know that I care alot for you,right?"he said looking at you with an intensity.

"Y-yes?"you were astonished..

"Keep the bowl on the table when you're finished.I'll come pick it up later..then go to sleep..You seem tired" he kissed your forehead and got out of your room.

You were beyond bewildered by his sudden warm action.The sensation of his lips on your skin reminded you of a nostalgic feeling,the feeling of being loved....

But those voices inside of your psyche told you that it wasn't right.

'Why these voices again?'

you shook your head and managed to get some sleep..

Since the day that you were born,you were blessed with strong curse techniques and was raised by one of the best jujutsu sorcerer clans,which was at the same level of strength as the Gojo clan.You were used to seeing horrendous creatures roaming around the streets and staring at you from buildings and killing those monsters was a routine for you.

But what you were not used to,were the voice that you would hear at night,in your sleep,or whenever you were alone and spending time with yourself....You were never able to understand the pleading words that you would hear,the shadow that you would see in your sleep,begging you not to leave and to stay,as hard as you tried,your attempts to discover the reasons behind those torments were non-fulfilled.

"Y/N-chan,let's go!" you heard your colleague,Gojo screamed.

There were news that one of your student,Megumi Fushiguro,was fighting a curse in a college about 2 km away from where Jujutsu High was.You were a special grade jujutsu sorcerer and stood next to Gojo when it came to strength and power. But unlike the white haired one,you weren't so full of yourself and would always come up to save one of your students without any cocky comment...

"I sensed some curse energy from that building...It wasn't much though...Don't know why Fushiguro seemed to have a hard time"you were starting to get pissed off by his comment but quickly brushed it off as you arrived to your destination.

But to your great surprise,there was no curse infront of you.However,you saw your poor student ,bloodied,on the floor,trying to stand on his feet.But what you saw next to him was much more astounding to your eyes....Next to your student was another boy,maybe the same age as Megumi,who was giving off a tremendous amount of curse energy.What was more appalling to you was the fact that this complete stranger was somehow familiar to you.

Your trance was suddenly cut off after hearing Gojo's voice

"So,did you find it?" The "it" referring to a certain cursed object,which was nothing more than a finger belonging to Ryomen Sukuna,the King of Curses.

Before Megumi could answer,the pink-haired boy sheepishly said "Sorry I ate it"

You were beyong shocked..It didn't take a genius to know that the finger was weird...And who in the world eats a finger anyway?

"FOR REAL!?!?!"you screamed

"For real" megumi confirmed,looking done with the situation himself.

Gojo stood infront of the pink haired boy whose name you heard was Itadori Yuuji,and gazed at his soul...As curious as you were of that familiar stranger,you didn't want to interrupt the blindfolded man from observing by his Six Eyes whether Sukuna was inside of Yuuji.

"Haha you're not kidding..They are combined",he laughed, "Can you switch to Sukuna?"

"Sukuna?" Poor boy,he didn't know what he put himself into...

"The curse object you ate,"you replied

"Oh yeah probably"

"Come on back after 10 seconds" Gojo said, warming up

You personally didn't like that idea at all..Sukuna was a powerful curse and evoking him was such a negligent action.But then you heard those voices again

"I'll wait for you until then,please do the same my love"

'Why now?why am I thinking of this now?'you said to yourself..

"Y/N-SENSEI!!BEHIND YOU!!"

But it was already too late..You were caught by two strong arms with sharp claws-like nails.They embraced you in such a tight hold that you were nearly suffocating.

"I-,"

The King of Curses was violently pulled away from you by a furious Gojo who slammed him onto a wall.

"I'm sorry but as long as I'm here,you won't be able to lay a single finger on her" gojo sneered.

"It doesn't matter what era it is.You guys are always a pain,you stupid jujutsu sorcerer," Sukuna ran towards him and pushed Gojo down..But Gojo was much more powerful than him...

Sukuna felt his energy growing weaker and weaker by the second,which meant that the Itadori brat was gradually taking control of his body...but before returning to his domain,he manged to turn to turn you and said,

"I'll be waiting for you until then,please do the same my love"
