Sukuna x Reader

𝕭𝖊𝖜𝖆𝖗𝖊: 𝐍𝐨𝐧𝐞

Ryomen Sukuna was the King of Curses.He was labelled as a monster by other peasants but was also worshipped as a God,receiving offerings so that the King could protect them from other curses in return.

He would received expensive clothes kneaded with rare linen,he would receive the first harvest of everyone's crop.He would also receive new women everyday to join his already full harem.But he needed a Queen.

Or so that's what his counselors advised to him,because he needed a a powerful heir to expand his kingdom to the whole world.

But who was worthy enough to bear his child?Definitely none of the women who are being presented to him right now seem strong enough to control a kingdom by his side.Apart from their figures and their beautiful faces,they looked so scared at the thought of even coming near him.How are they supposed to reign a Palace?Do they even know how to use a sword?

The 45th women has been presented to him,and yet the King's boredom hasn't vanished.

"My King,all of the women who were bound to be your Queen have already been presented to you."His servant,said to him.

Sukuna looked wearied.

"I see"

After saying those words,a frail looking girl dressed in a white flowery dress with braided dark hair rushed into the kingdom.She was stopped by the entrance guards but then showed them what seemed like a piece of paper.It was inevitably the announcement letter that the King had published to look for a woman capable of being his Queen as the soldiers allowed her in upon seeing the paper.

All of the other women were mocking her.If they were not able to capture the interest of the King even though they were gifted by an ethereal beauty,how can this mere farmer girl earn the respect of Ryomen Sukuna?

The girl bowed infront of Sukuna,trying hard not to lose her balance and gave him a basket of hot buns and croissants.

"Sorry I'm late,Your Majesty,"she said,mouthful of buns,in a small voice that almost made Sukuna's heart melt.Almost.

"Are you among the list of women that were supposed to come here?"Sukuna asked,staring down on the small looking girl infront of him.

"Yes.I came here to be the Queen.I mean if I can be the Queen.You can appoint me with any position you want,sir.As long as food is within reach"she said,ignoring the roar of laughter from the people of the kingdom.

"I am sorry for wasting your time my King.I didn't know that such a discourteous woman would hav-"the servant was interrupted when he saw the King stand up from his throne.

Sukuna walked towards the girl who was still bowed down,and grabbed her by her hair.

But what he did afterwards shocked everyone.Sukuna lowered himself to the point of sitting on his feet,and stared at the woman infront of him.

At first,he was amused with the way she was talking to him,unlike the other people who would be too frightened to even breath the same air as him.She treated him as a King and as a friend at the same time.

But after taking a good look at her face,he realised that she was far more beautiful than anyone he has ever seen during his reign.He has met a lot of women,slept with more people than even he could keep track of.Still,none of them could catch his interest.

You knew that you didn't stand a chance against the King.You didn't think of yourself as a woman beautiful enough to attract the stare of humans,say the least of a curse.

You also came from a poor family and wore modest clothes.You were not used to behaving courteously with the most exquisite behavior.

"Y-your Majesty,yo-your hold on my hair hurts,"you said,trying hard to sound as polite as possible.

Sukuna released your hair and grabbed your jaw instead,his deep eyes piercing inside of yours,as if he wants to know what you are thinking.

"Be my Queen,"he said,looking at you in pure admiration.

You couldn't believe it.

"Really?"you asked,eyes fixated to the demon's crimson ones.

"Do I look like I'm joking,human?"Sukuna growled.

"B-but y-your Majesty..Look at her.She doesn't look capable of being a Queen not only because of her social class but also because of her plain-looking appea-"his servant was cut off.

"Return all of the other women to their respective homes. There shall be no one except me near the Queen."Sukuna said.

"Also,whether she's good enough for you doesn't matter,"Sukuna said,eyeing the rude servant up and down.

"As long as she is perfect to me"

6:00,that was the time he gave up on you.

People always said how a marriage life has a lot of ups and downs,but at the end of the day,love will create a way throughout the storm.But unfortunately,this wasn't the case for you and your husband,now ex-husband Megumi

You have been noticing how he would always come later than usual,claiming that he had to do 'overtime' work or that he had loads of 'paperwork' to do.But you knew that there was someone else,someone better,for whom he was willing to give up on his loyal wife for,for whom he was willing to miss your wedding anniversary for.

6:00 and Megumi still wasn't home.Suddenly,the door opened.

"I told you not to wait for me,"Megumi said,his cold face not looking at you.

"I know.But i wanted to know if you were going to eat,"you said.

"I don't want to.I am not hungry."he went to the shower to relax,but you knew that it was just to escape your questionings.

"FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE,Y/N! I HAVE A LIFE! CAN'T YOU LEAVE ME ALONE AND MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS!?"Megumi yelled at you.

"BUT I'M YOUR WIFE MEGUMI. DON'T I HAVE THE RIGHT TO KNOW WHY MY HUSBAND KEEPS COMING LATE,WITH LIPSTICK STAINS ON HIS COLLAR!?"you cried.

"Tch.You want to know something?"he looked at you,his deep piercing for what seemed like the first time in ages.

You should have just left the conversation to be,and not to indulge much into the subject.But at the same time,if you didn't stay,you wouldn't have known what he thought of you,the reason why he would always distance himself from you.

"I fell in love with someone else."

But even though,you never gave up.Even after he literally pushed you out of the house to settle with his new girlfriend,you still didn't give up on messaging him first thing in the morning,wishing him a happy birthday on the specific days.

'Stupid',your friends used to say.How can a beautiful woman like you lower herself to the point of begging such a douchebag?

'Love makes you do stupid things,'you would always say,with a warm smile that hides a painful agony and lots of self-hatred,but only you would know that.

Because at the end of the day,it was your marriage,yours to fix. Beside,no one would be able to understand the burning pain that was present inside your chest each time you would think of him.

'Just move on already,love someone else,you deserve so much better'

Where's the lie? Didn't you deserve love? Didn't you deserve to move on and to live with someone who will love you with an ethereal admiration and not just a temporary feeling of compassion?But would you be able to love someone the same way you loved Megumi?

'I am not ready yet.'you would say.

5:06,the clock read.

It was now the time for you to deliver Megumi some pastries that you baked.You would always come to give him fresh clothes and small gifts at his workplace,leaving them outside his office and pass incognito because you knew that he wouldn't take them knowing that they are from you.But you cared for him.You knew how much he worked and how hungry he might get.You knew how exhausted he might be and that's the reason why you keep bringing him clean and warm clothes,especially during winter.

Even though,he had someone else to take care of him,you always found time to bring him gifts.

You entered the big cooperation where Megumi has been the CEO of for more than 5 years already.Upon seeing you,the receptionist gave you a pitiful smile.

"Good morning Mrs Y/N.Are you going to deliver things for Mr.Fushiguro again?"she asked,noticing the two bags of fresh clothes and pastries.

"Yes I am."

You walked alongside the corridor where Megumi's office was.You noticed the small table on which you usually laid the presents.

But suddenly,the door of the office opened,revealing none other than Megumi.

His eyes looked at you and looked at the bags full of clothes that you were holding.His eyes widened upon realising that it was you,who were bringing those small gifts to him all this time.

But what you didn't expect was the way his eyes were burning in anger.You did knew that he might get angry if he learnt that the provider of all these little needs was you.He clearly stated last time he saw you bringing him pastries that he doesn't want to have anything to do with you.But did you expect him to straight up grab the bags that you were carrying and throw them on the floor?No,you didn't.

Because the man that you were seeing infront of you was no longer the one you fell in love with.He was no longer the warm man who would kiss you early in the morning and who would cook you breakfast.He was no longer the man who would say 'my love,don't leave' but is the one who would forced you to get out of his sight.

"I think that you didn't get me right last time."Megumi started talking but you were too focused on the pastries that were laying crushed on the ground.

"But those little things won't make me love you again,"he said.

Your legs felt numb and fell on the floor,picking up what was left of the pastries you baked for him from the dirty parquet.You were at least thankful for the tears that were blurring your vision.They prevented you from seeing the massacre Megumi made with all the effort you pulled out to make a perfect frame with the photos of all the good moments you spent together.

After taking everything and putting them in your bags,you trembled while walking towards the door and opened it.

6:00 the clock read

6:00,that was the time he gave up on you

Hello💕✋.So yes,Megumi was indeed cheating and that's basically why he chose to breakup with the reader.

And for the expression he made,I'm just going to write a small drabble about it.☺

He fucked up.He knew it.And this has been haunting him last night.Your teary and devastated face has been tattooed on his mind and he couldn't move on from it,even when he tried to go back to his other girl,he couldn't erase you from his mind;hence why he cut ties with her.He miserably failed you.But he was going to make it right.

So here he was,a bouquet of flowers in his hands,which a box of your favorite chocolate.He even wrote the words 'I'm Sorry' on it,he knew deep inside that it wasn't that much,but still,you were such a kind hearted girl and you weren't the type to desire expensive gifts.

He smiled on imagining how things would rekindle and how the mess he had made would be untangled.

He remembered telling you to pack your things at his place today,so he walked rather hastily to his house,hoping that you'll be there.

And you were.Sitting on a couch on the balcony,eyes widened but he didn't know why.

He smiled at himself,and was ready to deliver a nice romantic speech,like a Romeo to his Juliet .

But his smile faded upon seeing a third party meddling,to say the least,his father, with his Juliet,who was tying hard to hide her nakedness from the public who were shamelessly taking pictures.

You guys broke up just 2 days ago.How easy was it to move on from him?

Megumi stared at you,face pale,feeling dizzy while you looked at him,frozen in place.His father on the other hand,didn't mind wrapping his hands around your waist while keeping eye contact with him.

"Hey son,you're not too mad I hope."His father said,laughing like a maniac.
