You soon are in front of him and as you both say “I do.” Diavolo and you share a sweet kiss, one of his hands on your waist , the other on your head pulling you closer. You guys smiles as everyone cheers for you two.

You and your best friend have been slowly drifting away, and you were scared of it. You didn’t want them to drift away after all you knew them for years. You were on your human phone texting them, waiting for them to respond but it took them a while and when they did respond they were dry.

This wasn’t the first time of this happening, it’s been happening for a while now. You start to tear up at the thought of them drifting away. Soon you heard a knock, quickly you tried wiping the tears away but it was too late because he opened the door and saw.

• Lucifer stopped from opening the door any further as soon as he saw your tears, he slowly walked in and shut the door behind him before approaching you quietly and calmly trying not to scare you.

• He sat beside you and put your hands in his, “MC dear, what’s wrong?” he asks gently while he rubs his thumbs over your cold knuckles making them warm.

• You told him everything and you broke down even more just thinking of it actually happening, them leaving you.

• Lucifer stares wide eyed for a second before he slowly lifts his hands from yours to pull you into a warm hug, rubbing your back.

• “MC.. it’ll be okay I promise, if they leave it’s their fault that they didn’t see just how amazing you were. Please don’t overthink it too much.”

• He’ll hug you for as long as you need, dry your tears as long as you need, for whatever reason you need him he’ll always be by your side.

• Mammon swings the door open but stops in his tracks as soon as he see’s the state you’re in.

• He closes the door and he almost runs to you, grabbing you into a tight embrace before looking over your features.

• “W-woah there MC, why ya so sad all of a sudden? The great Mammon’s here to cheer ya up!”

• You explain everything as more teardrops gather up in your eyes, he grabs a tissue from your dresser and wipes your tears before putting the tissue down and looking at you sadly.

• He gently strokes your tearstained cheeks, “That isn’t too good what is happening between ya, hopefully you guys start going back to normal. If ever they do leave ya just know that you tried your best..”

• He lays there with you until your tears dry, and you finish crying.

• You always comforted him, so he wanted to help you at your worst. He’ll leave small gifts and notes saying “You’re doing your best, never change<3” around.

• Leviathan was going to ask if you wanted to watch a new anime series that came out but quickly came to a halt when he heard your sobs

• “Uh.. MC? Are you o-okay?”

• He is very awkward because he never really had anyone to comfort since the fall and he thinks he’s bad at it.

• He awkwardly walks up to you and sits beside you, and hands you a tissue box.

• “D-Do you want to talk about it?..”

• You tell him and he looks at you guilty

• “I’ve been through that too.. I didn’t know what to do so I just let it happen, I regret it so much though. Hopefully you guys don’t drift away after all you are a great person..”

•He gives you one of his comfort pillows to cry into if you want, he tries his best to comfort you.

• Satan was about to call you for your cooking duty until he saw your tears, he closes the door and kneels in front of you.

• He grabs your hands and kisses one before looking up at you with a sympathetic look, whoever made you feel like this would go through hell.

• He tries to keep calm, asking you what’s wrong and once you explain he gets madder.

• “MC, i’m sorry to hear that. I think the best idea is if you’re the one holding the friendship string together and they aren’t giving anything in return you should drop it and find new people that will show the same back to you. I know it’ll hurt, but it’s best for your mental health.”

• You stop crying a bit before hugging him tightly, he hugs you back gentle and warm.

• If you need rest, he’ll let you get it and he’ll take over your cooking duty or you guys can both work together for cooking.

• He’ll do anything to see you smile again and out of your sad state. He’ll even stay the night with you in his room or youra if you want.

• Asmo was going to talk to you about the new skincare that he had bought but immediately ran to you and held you in his arms when he saw your crying face.

• “Oh my.. who had hurt my darling MC?!”

• He holds you in his arms, cradling your head, stroking your hair gently as if you were going to break any moment.

• Once you tell him everything he holds you even closer, letting you cry into his shoulders.

• “There there hon, remember i’m always here and i could try to help you with advice i had when this happened to me. If your best friend isn’t doing too much to avoid that from happening, and your the only one you should try to think of other ways, if it doesn’t help you should show them the same energy back and maybe they’ll see that they’re doing wrong.”

• You cry even more into his shoulders, and he rubs your head waiting until you stop crying before he gently picks you up and brings you to his room.

• He sets you down gently on his comfy bed and walks over to his dresser to grab some face masks and a comfortable robe to put over your pajamas, matching with his robe.

• He lets you lay down as he puts the cool face mask gently on your face and rubs it onto your face slowly and gently.

• You calm down a bit and he offers if you would like a bubble bath, if you say yes he’ll run the bath and put in your favourite scented bubbles into his large bath. He’ll let you get in yourself and go back to his room unless you want him to join you.

• He’s a very good comforter.

• Beel immediately drops some snacks he got for the two of you, and shut the door before sitting beside you.

• “What happened MC?..”

• Once you explain and cry even more, he pulls you into his embrace and hugs you softly while holding your back in place to steady you.

• “You shouldn’t have to feel that way or go through that, i’m so sorry. If they stop being like they used to that means it will probably never be the same. It might be better to leave them for a while then maybe come back and see if they chase after you, if not it’s better to find people who deserve your attention.”

• He picks up the snacks and hands you a bag of you favourite chips and a bottle of your favourite soda/beverage.

• If you want you can spend the night with him and Belphie and join them in a movie night.

• If you accept he’ll get your favourite snacks, comfortable pillows and blankets and expect a sandwich cuddle with the twins<3

• He seriously tries his best to help you feel better, hugs from him is like a big teddy bear in real life

• Belphie came into your room to cuddle, shutting the door behind him not noticing your tears until he came up close to you and he was immediately awake as he ever been

• He lays down beside you, pulling you with him and cuddling you.

• He hugs you and lays his head on your shoulder and asks what happened.

• Once you explained he was kind of mad at your friend for treating you like that but felt bad for you more.

• “MC, you shouldn’t have to feel like they’re drifting away. You’re trying your best and doing everything you can for them but if thats not good enough for them then I don’t know what will be. Just know you tried your best.”

• He wipes your tears with his thumb and cuddles you until you fall asleep in his embrace, he’ll also fall asleep.

• Once you wake up you’d notice that he’s gone, but he comes back with your favourite dish he tried to cook for you, and a drink.

• He usually never does this for anyone but you will be an exception.

Context: After you get your sorcerer's license while studying as Solomon's apprentice, you are now an accomplished sorcerer and pact master, and as such, you need to decipher some tomes for Solomon. You decided to take a break and went downstairs to make a trip to the kitchen and back, easy. However, the RAD student council president and vice president had other ideas.

Scenario: You were in your room, meticulously pouring over the several grimoires Solomon had lent you. Gingerly flipping an ancient-looking page about herbs, you hissed as the dry paper rubbed against your sore fingertips, the faded remnants of a curse still present on the book. It had been nearly four hours and you had only managed to decipher two chapters of text. You were glad Solomon had enchanted your reading glasses to translate the runes on the old sheets, otherwise you'd have taken DAYS. Your voice was constricted from not having spoken a word ever since you boarded yourself up in your room for the afternoon.

It was now six in the evening and you were at your wit's end. The House of Lamentation had been quiet for the most part; but now it was alive with the sounds of the brothers' various activities and bickering. Diavolo, Barbatos and the Purgatory Hall members had also come over for unofficial business, and their chorus of voices joined the clamour. "Dear God help me, your problem children are being problematic again-" You rubbed circles into your temples, sighing. Maybe you should be taking a break. After all, one can only translate runes for so many hours before going insane. You stood up, chucking your pencil at the bed as the chair legs screeched against the floor. You pushed past the door, walking down the stairs. Diavolo, Lucifer, Simeon and Barbatos were gathered around a table, discussing student council duties pertaining to the exchange program over glasses of Demonus, while Solomon, Asmo and Satan sat in armchairs, chatting away about things they had seen over the week. Mammon and Levi were playing Devil Kart, cursing each other every time one of them would fall behind. Belphie was surprisingly not asleep, but leaning against Beel with an amused expression on his face as he watched Mammon and Levi hurl creative insult after insult at each other. Beel was on his third cheeseburger, chatting with Luke, who was ranting about the latest baking fads.

You ignored the noise, passing through the living room to get to the kitchen and grab a glass of water. Your eyelids were heavy from staring at runes for so long, and you blinked several times as the light from the kitchen temporarily blinded you. You sighed again, hoping to finish up annotating the grimoires before dinner, snorting when you realized how much you sounded like Lucifer.

Speaking of the devil, as you headed back through the living room for the staircase, Lucifer had gotten up and was staggering towards you. Diavolo and Simeon cheered Lucifer on; apparently they had dared him to do...something. Weren't they supposed to be discussing business stuff a couple minutes ago? Even Barbatos seemed to have a sly grin as he watched Lucifer clumsily maneuver across the room to where you were standing. Were they all...drunk? Belphie and Satan had their phones out, recording potential Anti-Lucifer Club blackmail material.

Lucifer pushed you back against the wall, leaning forward to make a move. The force of your shoulders hitting the wall made your neck joint pop, releasing built-up tension and making the demon pause. A drunk Lucifer was a troublesome one to deal with, albeit endearing. You took advantage of his momentary confusion and grasped his hair, before promptly jerking his head backwards and putting distance between the two of you. A breathy moan escaped his mouth from the force of being tugged.

The entire room was dead silent, everyone staring in shock. You peered over the enchanted glasses to look into his crimson eyes. They were wide with surprise. An artful smile crept its way up your face.

"That's a little too close for comfort, don't you think, Mr. Morningstar?" You had meant for the words to come across as playful, but your unused voice sounded more tired and teasing than intended. The atmosphere immediately thickened, tendrils of excitement tension swirling around the room. The firstborn was rooted to the spot, unable to react. Your gaze softened, and you pulled Lucifer closer, fondly carding your fingers through the Avatar of Pride's raven locks. "I still have some work to do. I'll be with you all in a bit!" You said cheerfully, before pecking his forehead and turning on your heel to climb up the stairs, leaving the living room in stunned silence.

At least you'd finally get some peace and quiet for a while.
