Two small, but very powerful words. I found myself tearing up not even a thousand words in. Maybe not even half of that.

This story really pulled at my heart and I think it's because I can relate to her in small bits and fragments. Being scared of entering into a relationship because you don't want anyone to hurt you. Closing yourself off because you dont want anyone to share the burden of your pain.

I'm glad that she has Namjoon with her now. I wish that this Namjoon could pop out of my phone screen and comfort me like that. You drew him to be so beautiful. His heart and his mind. And the little:

“Come’re, sweetheart.”

He's such a dream (even if he does hate mint chocolate ice cream🤧). He's a safe haven that she's always had, but I'm glad that now she's slowly beginning to open her own heart and mind to him. Oh, and this part:

If you did meet someone who could promise that he’d wait as long as you needed and meant it…would you be willing to give him a chance?”

My heart got so soft here even though my cheeks were heating at the same time because I knew what his intentions were. I don't know what is about this quote but I felt so vulnerable here and I felt so much. Which made this part:

You considered every wonderful, beautiful aspect of the man in front of you and how he had never, ever been the sort of person to say something important without meaning it. Namjoon was the type of man who would promise patience and give his all to keep that promise because that was just who he was; dedicated and unbelievably earnest in all that he did.

All the more impactful. I also really loved the: “I said time with you is never time wasted.” quote as well because when you really do have feelings for each someone, then it does feel that way (or so I've heard). And ugghh the last scene when Namjoon is laying in bed and thinking over the beginning of their relationship:

He didn’t know if those words reassured her, could only hope that they had, but he knew he’d made a promise he could keep and he’d do whatever he had to in order to prove that to her. She was giving him a chance he never thought he’d ever get and he wouldn’t waste it, wouldn’t squander it. He’d do right by her. He swore to himself that he would.

This cut deep, especially the last two sentences, and was also one of the moments where I felt so weak for him and his love for her. Thank you for making me cry. I understand why you love this story so much and hold it closely to your heart. It definitely made me more emotional than I thought that I would be, but I'm glad. And I honestly can't wait to see where their relationship goes. Thank you again for sharing this. I really appreciate it💕

I think it was because for one, it was with Namjoon, and two, the mood board for this made me blush so hard.
