It's a blatant act of censorship that WILL affect the entirety of the internet (you think anti-net neutrality movements are bad? This is worse). Your call doesn't have to be long, but it is key that your reps know you will fight for their losses in the next primary if they vote in favor of this bill. Reasoning with their "human sensibilities" doesn't work with people in that position, you must threaten their power. It would help if you could convince your family members to do the same (if they are a conservative/republican just ask them if they're okay with "a socialist like Biden being able to censor your Internet." It worked on my uncle and he is very conservative).

I have not once met someone who hates vincent

he is so insecure and humble and just deserves to see everyone complimenting him and his wax figures

So the media keeps mentioning this bill as a TikTok ban but the actual contents are even more concerning. The bill is called the RESTRICT Act and targets six "enemy" countries from the US. It is very vague and gives the government an excuse to restrict citizens' access to foreign technology competing with US companies.

Why do I imply this is about boosting US tech monopolies and not national security concerns as the government claims?
