Four is 16 and an AP honor student. He has a scholarship to university and will major in engineering after he graduates high school. Four knows how to weld since Grandpa Smith taught him when he was young. Since his grandpa is now getting weaker with age, Four helps him in his welding job whenever possible.

Legend is 18, he's in college and majoring in history and language studies. He currently has a job as a part-time translator, but has worked a ton of odd jobs ever since he was 14 in order to help the family with money. He's had so many jobs and worked in so many different fields that he earned the joking nickname of "veteran".

Hyrule is also 18, he's in medical school and training to become a paramedic. He currently works as a part-time park ranger (and has gotten lost many times). He has hemophilia, and although it's very mild and not life threatening, he hates having to deal with all the bleeding so he's very careful not to cut/scrape himself.

- Legend complains whenever he's invited to a gala but goes to every single one of them so he can be with/support Fable since she doesn't like the galas either

- He doesn't talk to anyone during galas (because ew stuffy nobles) and basically follows Fable around like a puppy the whole night

- They talk smack together about certain nobles/diplomats over tea and pastries

- Sometimes Fable disguises herself and goes on little city dates with Legend

- He teaches her how to use a sword and she teaches him how to improve his magic

- They like studying history together

- He bakes for her, she prefers his baking over all the royal chefs

- When one of them is having a bad mental day, Legend will act as her personal bodygaurd for the day. Not because she needs the protection, but because they like knowing that the other person is safe and near

So, FYI you guys, sometimes if you go to your favorite writers and flail at them a lot about how much you love their fics with lots of specific examples, they will let you read thousands of words of their unpublished WIPs and you can flail even more. Also sometimes after that you get to be friends, too, and help them come up with ideas. And vice versa! This is pretty much the best thing in the world and it is called fandom.
