guys, did you know thor and loki are brothers? 🥺 i've seen literally every single marvel film multiple times and have a multi-shelf comic collection, but somehow i must have missed the part where it turns out they're brothers.

uh oh, i guess since apparently they're brothers i can't ship them anymore. it's not like i specifically shipped them because they were brothers or anything, i'm definitely not primarily interested in the unique challenges and opportunities their being siblings presents irt their romantic and sexual relationship, or the potential differences between asgardian and human culture which would affect their acceptance as a couple on asgard and/or earth... i mean, of all the thousands upon thousands of thorki fanworks i've consumed, i totally didn't favor the ones that featured them as brothers as opposed to ones which removed that source of conflict by making them strangers. i mean, of course i didn't, because somehow i made it to the year of our lord 2021 without realizing they're related.
