this is downright dystopian

now angel is back ?!?!? omg how many times will she have to kill him :(
im watching buffy the vampire slayer rn, episode 17 of season 2 and honestly im sick of the storyline with angel and janna/jenny calendar. i mean, it's not like jenny had a choice to do what she did (she didn't even do anything to anyone in fact). angel literally tortured her people, what was she supposed to do ? i get that buffy is devastated by what happened and im sorry for her but i just don't think it's fair to be mad at jenny like that. (i know that buffy is a 17yo whose life is complicated and has literally the weight of the world on her shoulders+ a heartbreak but still, it's really not fair)
i love him sm

even if he didn't have a soul back then and now has one i think for these people, it's pretty much the same cause, yk, same body and all
and well i agree that she could've done things differently but she was under so much pressure that i get why she didn't
and also, stories (especially those of tragic events) make great impact on clans, tribes, families. traditions live down and if you start drifting away from them, you usually don't get treated very well. the story of the girl's murder must've had a huge effect on all of the clan's people, even if it was long ago. although i agree that the emphasis they put on vengeance was probably going way too far and they they kind of should've let it go.
i think you're right but i just really wished jenny had a chance to redeem herself while she was alive and maybe get things right with everyone
