SFHSHFHSHDS in that case, let me blab a bit about this au!

So CPI Herbert, whom I've nicknamed Henry, is Herbert's nephew in this au. In it he ends up finding Club Penguin Island (og version) while on a search for his dear uncle Herbert, whom Henry idolized since childhood. After lurking in the shadows for a while, observing the island and learning about Herbert's history on the island- especially Operation Hibernation- Henry quickly got VERY mad at the penguins. He refused to believe his uncle was anything but right, and that the penguins were cruel and unjust for force-hibernating him.

Henry ends up approaching Herbert and they have a reunion, after all those years seperated. In that reunion, Henry offers to help Herbert in taking over the island/enacting his revenge on the Elite Penguin Force, and Herbert agrees. Henry is family, after all.

Buuuuut Henry is a touch more unstable and ruthless than Herbert is, as well as very distrustful of Klutzy and any other allies of Herbert's. So as you can imagine, everything goes to hell for everyone involved.

I won't spoil the rest of it, but yeah! That's Henry! I'll also attach my (re)design for him.

He'll kidnap you just to play with you and treat you like a friend :3

Don't get me wrong, I myself have semi-wholesome hcs about Slappy but to completely make him an uwu soft baby ultimately destroys his character.

You can have a couple of cute headcanons while also keeping that child-enslaving Mr. Bean in character.

Currently deep into the goosebumps fandom at the moment so I felt like sharing a possibly scandalous take?? I'm having a wacky night tonight so I might take this down later, but anyways, scandalous take incoming;

I really don't like it when people mischaracterize Slappy as being really sweet and kind. ESPECIALLY when they get mad over him not always beint portrayed as such. I understand that everybody has different interpretations of the characters, but I've been actively hated on for writing Slappy for how he's portrayed in canon; a power-hungry, sadistic, cruel, overall nightmare to deal with. In general I see a lot of misconceptions about how Slappy acts because the goosebumps fandom tends to take ideas and run with them (Mary Ellen being an obsessed yandere, Mr. Wood and Wally being the same person, etc.), but one of the most confusing to me is the "Slappy is actually misunderstood" misconception. Like... guys. This man enslaves children. I just- idk I'm getting a little bored of the uwu Slappy content. I want some good ol' content of Slappy being a pos.

On the bright side, I have seen a lot of blogs sharing more close-to-canon content lately for this evil dummy! So I definitely am not saying it's the entire fandom that does this- just a surprising majority.
