Today is a good day to put a bowtie on my dog.

So I felt like the Prince was a little bit lonely, and should have the Princess. 

I purchased a cheap porcelain doll off of ebay and proceeded to give her some cosmetic surgery.

Inktober consolation prize. These are what I am working on building right now, out of plaster and wood and god knows what else.

I found that as an art challenge, Inktober doesn’t totally work for me. I do most of my work in ink as it is, so it simply becomes “Draw a random thing-tober.” That becomes too easy to drop when I’ve got other art stuff going on. Perhaps I will encourage the creation of Mixed Media-vember or something.

Worth it just for this reaction. 

Life update. I am teaching now. I am officially a university art teacher. I am teaching drawing, three different classes of it. The first class went okay, but the subsequent two went very well. Teaching is way more terrifying than taking classes ever was. Here's hoping that I don't ruin everything ever. I've got people believing in me.
