U are not "rotting" in bed. U are resting, beloved
Yeah sometimes I just immerse from my room like I was in a coma.
bingewatching will never come close to bingereading. there is nothing like blocking out the entire Earth for ten hours to read a book in one sitting no food no water no shower no bra and emerging at the end with no idea what time it is or where you are, a dried-up prune that's sensitive to light and loud noises because you've been in your room in the dark reading by the glow of a single LED. it's like coming back after a three-month vacation in another dimension and now you have to go downstairs and make dinner. absolutely transcendental

'having a communication problem with my partner' what are you two??? 45 and married with 3 kids????

special shoutout to roy harper, stage three clinger
I'm dying, it's so funny HA🤣
Short Shorts at 20,000 Feet
Pairing: Tenth Doctor/Reader
Warnings: Another confusing title, one Naughty word maybe?)
Summary: After gremlins hotwire the TARDIS and leave it an overheated mess, its inhabitants suffer through some heat, as well as Donna’s matchmaking shenanigans.Â

“I’m dying.” The words scratched your throat as they crawled out. “I’m dying and there’s nothing I can do about it.”
“You’re not dying,” the Doctor replied, and you could hear the grin in his voice.
He was being obnoxiously cheerful, thought Donna Noble, who was also halfway through melting to death. Not for the first time, she shook an internal fist at whatever evolutionary thing-a-ma-do on Gallifrey evolved Time Lords into temperature insensitive assholes. The Doctor barely had a drop of sweat on him, and he’d only removed his jacket and tie. With rolled-up sleeves, he was sprawled out under the console, where all the heat radiated from in the first place. Occasionally, his head would pop out to make jovial little quips.
Donna wondered if this is what animalistic hatred felt like, if animalistic hatred was tempered by a lack of will to live.
The two of you were sprawled out on the console sofa-chair, both stripped down to shorts and undershirts. Today’s All of Time and Space field-trip had been planned as an ecotour of the steamy planets of the Leo constellation, but the day had taken an involuntary detour into the smoking section of Hell. Donna gave it about twenty minutes before her chastity completely evaporated, and her knickers made their debut.
Gremlins.
Of all of the Twilight-Zone-esque gimmicks she’d come to expect in your travels, gremlins hadn’t made the list. Next you’d be held hostage by dolls or given facelifts by pig people.
“I am too dying,” you said, only half-teasing. You were holding a book, as if you could distract yourself from getting heatstroke. But if Donna was following your gaze correctly, you seemed more distracted by the Doctor’s forearms. “My book’s getting sweat stained. And that is the nastiest sentence I’ve ever said out loud.”
“I’m stuck to the seat with my own sweat,” Donna added, picking at where her thighs fused with faded yellow leather.
“I’ll have it all fixed in a jiff,” the Doctor insisted. He ignored the look you and Donna shot each other; you’d heard the same sentence five times in the last miserable half hour. “We threw out the whole lot of the Graenliopods—“
“Gremlins,” Donna corrected in a mumble.
“—so the TARDIS is completely safe. Console’s not even on fire anymore! Just have to make a few adjustments to the temperature settings, unlock the door and the other rooms, and everything’ll be right as rain.”
The TARDIS groaned like the hull of a ship as it hit an iceberg. The lights flickered. The Doctor grunted, squinting as some dial whirled out of control. Donna thought she saw his hair droop. Â
You were going to die.
