The thing with starting to do Pardah is for a few initial years, you WILL feel awkward. Amongst family, relatives, acquaintances...there is going to be this thought in your mind that "oh, what would they think?" or "do I look abnormal"

Many would call you "over" for being covered when most of them choose not to (especially in family gatherings) Many will ask you to remove it giving excuses...but always. ALWAYS remember why you started off doing it. For pleasing Allah subhanahuwata'ala. And pleasing Allah subhanahuwata'ala may or may not please the creation, shaytan will try make you feel "odd one out" but it's better to be odd one out actually. So, don't give in to such intrusive thoughts. You're doing a great job. Alhamdulillah.

Secondly, a practical tip I can give you is, have a homie jilbab. Which is always somewhere nearby you, something you can grab on quickly...so whenever someone comes, you can wear it as one would wear dupatta. In the beginning people will look sceptical about your attire but eventually it gets better...once they realise it's who you are. In Sha Allah.

If you can read Urdu, read the book Jannat Kay Pattay by Nemrah Ahmed. That book will give you a thrilling clarity on Hijab. In Sha Allah.

Amidst This Heartbreaking Events Taking Place In Gaza (Palestine) All The Ummah Is Grieving Because We

Amidst this heartbreaking events taking place in Gaza (Palestine) all the Ummah is grieving because we think we cannot actually do anything to aid our brothers n sisters there, I too was thinking that for a long time, avoiding to watch news because it does nothing but increase the anxiety and a sense of helplessness. And then I read this ayah of surah Zukhruf during tilawah. The way Allah subhanahuwata'ala says, that even if He takes RasulAllah ﷺ in death, Allah is fully all Able to take revenge and retribution from the kuffars. So, even if it's too painful to see our people dying in cruel merciless attacks, Allah will accept them as Shaheed and Allah will Avenge their deaths. Soon there will be a day, when these kuffar will face what they've earned through the wrath of Allah. This ayah gives the courage to keep patience in these hard times. But something more important along with this is told in the next ayah....It's where Allah says, "so adhere to what is revealed to you..." i.e. the Quran. And it's of utmost importance as an Ummah, we stick to the Quran and Sunnah. Seek aid through patience and prayers. Don't deviate towards inappropriate acts (rallies, protests where people cross various limits)

The reason for our calamities is because we left the Quran and Sunnah and started to follow the deviations and desires. So, the cure to lift these calamities is in gathering back upon Quran and Sunnah. So, make sure in these hard times, that losing hope and mere grieving will not suffice. Strive harder to bring Quran and Sunnah in your life, help others with it too, help the Palestinians (I'm not saying just muslims but many people overlook that even Christians live in Palestine) through donations and supplications. Remember, more than changing profile pictures, standing in solidarity, online campaigns...your striving for Shariah will help the Ummah. May Allah help us all and May Allah curse and punish the kuffar with severe torment in both worlds. Aameen.
