Nintendo either needs to

a) stop this fucking crackdown on emulators for games that have not had any chance to be replayed anywhere / any other way to stream since they just abandon their old consoles and shut down support for everything but the Switch and most people have already paid for these games once

Or

b) instead of throwing their fits about losing money for what is essentially abandonware for a lot of the older games at the very least, they need to make their fucking catalogue fully available. They could put them up onto their emulator apps they themselves put on the switch OR release them all in bundled games. For some very long standing series they could easily just do a couple different bundles and put them at a reasonable price and people would actually be receptive. I'd pay 20 bucks to replay the old fire emblem games for example. I'd rather have them up for free through their emulation apps but if they're so concerned about turning a profit on old games that they don't have any support for what so fucking ever that's how they need to do it.

So either stop giving a shit Nintendo or actually do something to correct this for yourself without having to worry. Do the fucking work or don't but stop taking it on the people that clearly still give enough of a shit to love and play your full catalogue.
