all in all, oikawa would really enjoy trese. he likes the folklore and he got to learn more about his besties.

he finds all of the aswangs and creatures very cool and interesting even tho they may look ugly/scary to him.

he liked that it was funny and really showed the culture of the philippines. he ofc would say all this to both you and haji.

he would text you two in the middle of the night that he got a nightmare of a tiyanak or xa mul. you guys would lowk laugh but reassure him they aren’t real for like two weeks.

he’d also swear he saw the white lady of balente drive while walking home from practice even though we’re in japan???

you guys wouldn’t express it, but you guys both appreciate oikawa enjoying it and his willingness to know more about the legends and myths from where you two came from. oikawa def knows you two feel this way tho.

in my mind, fugo is actually more drawn and attracted to people that are calm and loving.

before dating, i feel he’d be hesitant to pursue wanting to be in a relationship with you.

NOT BECAUSE HE DOESN’T WANT TO, but bc he doesn’t wanna scare you, overwhelm you, or cause you any harm or concern bc of his anger issues.

BUT BEING THE CALM LOVING PERSON YOU ARE, YOU KEEP CHECKING UP ON HIM (which makes his heart skip multiple beats) SO HE (thankfully) CAN’T HELP IT.

during these times you just assure him he’s doing amazing and the fact that he’s even trying is enough.

Anon asked: Another Bucci gang request! (Escape room anon here! Love your blog!!!)Horror movie night! It was probably Narancia and/or Mista who decided on it and made everyone else watch it. (Also I once heard that Italian horror movies are the scariest and goriest, idk any specific movie titles but that’s just a random cinema fact I heard). (Also I keep picturing Narancia teasing everyone at first about how scared they’re gonna be and then he ends up the most scared and trying not to show it, lol)

Horror movie night would 100% be Narancia’s idea

He was most likely out at the store and came across a video store on his way home

Deadass bought only the scariest ones

“Okay, so, I know it’s not Halloween BUT, let's have a horror movie night! Look, I bought a ton of movies while I was out so we can have a bunch to pick from! I think I grabbed a movie or two for each category--”

Mista would immediately be into the idea the second Narancia said movie night; the two of them think they’ll be fine

Giorno would be the next member to convince only because he hasn't watched a whole lot of those movies and doesn't know any better

I feel like Bruno wouldn’t have a clue where to start in the horror category, but he’s always down to try new things!

Abbacchio would be a little tougher to get on board with the idea

Not because he’s scared, no, but because he thinks horror movies nowadays are cheesy

With the constant persistence of Mista and Narancia, he’ll eventually cave

And Fugo

Poor Fugo would straight up say no and would essentially be forced to watch a horror movie

A little reverse psychology, if you will, on the behalf of Mista would be the driving force for Fugo to join in

“Oh, you’re right Fugo, I don't think you could handle these kinds of movies. It’s probably best you sit this activity out!”

Bruno Bucciarati

Even if Bruno has no experience with watching horror movies, that doesn't mean he isn't down to try them!

I feel like he would hold these movies to a high expectation of being scary enough to elicit a reaction

Bruno definitely isn't squeamish by any means, but I feel like jumpscares would get him!

He wouldn't scream, but I can see him give a slight jolt if something catches him off guard

Placing a hand on his chest and letting out a slight breath that he didn't know he was holding

It’s all in good fun though!

I feel like Bruno would end up actually liking horror movies!

I think it would be a mix of the movie itself and the experience he had with his gang

Speaking of them, I can totally see Bruno using his stand to scare certain people if he’s feeling a little cheeky that evening

He would use Sticky Fingers to grab the ankles or arms of any member that was particularly tense!

He would feign ignorance just to further tease his victim

All in all, Bruno would have a great time and would love to do it again!

Oh boy

This man loves to hate horror movies

It’s not that he doesn't like them, because Abbacchio could take or leave them, but

The plots and scenes are just so ridiculous that he can't suspend his disbelief

Abbacchio would 100% criticize the main cast for being idiots whilst running away from the killer

And he’ll be very vocal about it

“Are you kidding me? Even Giorno does a better job at getting us almost lost or killed, and he’s just driving us around Naples.”

like Bruno, Abbacchio would go into this experience with a set of expectations

And would be disappointed when they’re not met

He wouldn't get too scared, I don't think!

He might make a face or two if something catches him off guard, but he’s pretty unfazed

Even though he doesn't get much of a thrill out of watching horror movies, he loves to see other people get scared

That thrills him

Abbacchio would definitely tease the shit out of people like Mista or Narancia for being so scared

He may or may not use Moody Blues to tease them later

Let's just hope they don't piss Abbacchio off

Giorno Giovanna

Giorno is a pretty calm and collected guy for the most part

However, I feel like horror movies would bother him slightly

Giorno’s the kind of guy to outwardly be okay, but on the inside, he’s suffering

He’d be gripping the couch’s armrest, holding his breath, and swallowing hard

His hands would be slightly shaky and he would be sweating

If not for the couch’s armrest, he would be holding onto a pillow a little tiger than he should be

But, Giorno’s face would remain stoic and calm!

Nor would he make a sound if he was scared

And he would 100% playoff being scared!

He’d probably awkwardly laugh it off if someone confronts him about being so tense

“H-huh? Me? Scared? You’re joking, right? I'm perfectly fine.”

Giorno would probably be one of the people Bruno tries to scare because he just looks so unbelievably tense

He would probably have a heart attack when he feels some unknown hand grip his ankle

I don't think Giorno would prefer to watch horror movies

He wouldn't mind if the majority of his gang wanted to watch one, but he won't be the one to suggest it

Guido Mista

Mista can deny being scared all he wants

But the fact of the matter is that he is terrified

If someone were to point out how scared he is, he would immediately project his fears onto someone else

Or he would point out how someone else is more scared than him

“Me, scared!? You were the one who screamed! I was only screaming because you were screaming!”

Mista would be very vocal about being scared

He wouldn't be as loud as Narancia, but he would 100% yell in fear

He would be the kind of guy to violently jolt when something scares him

He might even grab onto the nearest person! (Narancia or Giorno)

Please don't let him hold food either; his violent jolts will send food everywhere

But Mista also strikes me as the guy who secretly loves to be scared by horror movies

Or at least forgets how scared he gets and watches them anyways

He’ll look at Giorno and Abbacchio in bewilderment

Neither of them are scared! (little does he know about Giorno)

He’d try to put on a brave face, but he just can't convince himself

I can see himself getting up to “use” the bathroom

But we all know he uses those trips to calm himself down

Mista would walk away from the movie night visibly spooked, but he won't admit that

This poor child really underestimated his movie choice

He picked the scariest one he could find and he managed to scare himself shitless!

He would be so loud and very jumpy!

But he would be one of those angry-scared people

He would scream at the tv and curse when something scares him

“You mother fucking, ugly-ass, dumb fuck, son of a--”

“Narancia!”

I can totally see Narnacia being a pillow hider or hiding behind another individual if he got scared enough

He’ll be so on edge that even someone asking him a simple question would scare him

Like Mista, he will try to justify the reason why he was scared and completely deny acting like a baby

He will argue with someone over how scared he is

And he will be quick to mention how someone else is more scared than him

Even though it is clear as day that he's scared, he'll deny it

and he'd die on that cross

Narancia would be so scared from his own movie choice that he would sleep with the lights on for a night or two

Don't tease him though, he’ll pull his knife out

Pannacotta Fugo

Fugo is like Abbacchio, but scared

He’s the kind of guy to be in denial at how scary the movie is

Like, the movie is too cheesy and predictable to be scary

However, he’s as equally scared as everyone else, his pride just keeps him from admitting it

Especially not to Mista

He would be the kinda guy to point out how scared someone is and how stupid the movie is

“Really? That scared you? How are you even in the mafia if a little jump scare like that would get you? And you’re the one who wanted to have a movie night!”

As a way to cover up his fears, he’d critique the movie as a way to justify how he couldn't possibly be scared

He’d try to put on a brave face, and it works for the most part

That is until Narancia screams and he gets scared alone just from that

Fugo is a high strung guy to begin with so horror movies would make him even more anxious

He also doesn't really see the appeal to these kinds of movies, anyways

Who would want to pay to get scared? Or watch people get killed?

These definitely aren't his go-to kinds of movies and would only return to movie night if it was a different genre

❊ USHIJIMA stares at the screen, trying to make sense of the many buttons you were excitedly pressing. he darts his eyes from the screen then at you and wonders just how you're always able to make him do the most unsensible of things. he wonders how with just one word and a little pout, you've got him wrapped around your fingers. not that he's complaining, he's just at a loss at your power over him.

"okay! it's ready, the countdown's starting!" you shake him from his thoughts as you sit back down with a little bounce.

you beam at the camera as ushijima tilts his head, what is going on?

he blinks.

and just like that your faces are on the screen—your bright smile and his confused face, mid-blink.

"i think i missed it," he says eyeing the photo. he doesn't really mind, as long as you were happy. perhaps this is why you have such a hold of him? the edge of his lips curls up in a small smile as he thinks back to his previous thoughts.

you couldn't help but giggle, "that's okay! we can doodle on our photo instead." you sit up and start drawing whiskers and cat ears on his face from the screen.

you feel ushijima move from his seat and follow your example. his big mighty hands, ever so gently and with utmost love and care, draws little hearts around you. you gaze at him as he squints, focused and determined to fit in as many hearts as he can.

"it’s cute," he beams as he looks at his and your's little artwork.

you couldn’t help yourself, you pull him and kiss his cheek just the way that makes him scrunch his nose and laugh. "mhm, and so are you."

❊ SEMI raises an eyebrow at you, "so this was your emergency?" he asks as you drag him inside the photo booth. when you called him about a certain "emergency" that he definitely had to help you with, this was not what he had in mind. but now, semi just chuckles at your excitement. your silly antics are one of the reasons he loves you, how can he ever refuse?

you only look up at him with a sly grin and nod. "it’s been a while since we did this, right?" you sit down on the booth and start fixing your hair. he sits down beside you and presses the start button, the countdown begins almost immediately and you squeal in excitement.

you wrap your arm around his and get ready to pose. the shutter captures your cute smiles and bright giggles, preserving the quick little moment forever. and just before the last shutter goes off, semi softly grabs your chin and pulls you in. his lips brush against yours and you hold your breath in surprise. he doesn't let go even after the booth lights go off or when you hear your photo start printing outside.

he pulls away and smirks down at you, revenge. "photo booth dates aren't complete without that, right?" he muses.

you scoff and pull him back in by the collar of his shirt, much to his delight. "of course."

❊ SAKUSA eyes the photo booth cautiously as you use all your strength to try and drag him inside. "come on omi just one picture, please?" you cruelly look up at him with those doe eyes, knowing well that he can never say no to them. and like on cue, sakusa heaves out a sigh of defeat and lifts his once planted feet off the ground. he lets you drag him inside and you can't help but let the triumphant grin slip from your lips.

"it's starting!!" you exclaim as you sit back down beside sakusa who's been staring at the screen, a blank and confused look on his face. his eyes dart around, looking for the camera.

"where should i look?" he asks you, slightly panicking at the countdown on the screen.

you grab his arm and pull him closer, getting ready to strike a pose, "anywhere! just smileeeeeee!" and with that, the booth rings with the shutter of the camera and your playful carefree giggles.

"fun, right?" you ask still clinging onto sakusa's arm as you two wait for the picture to print.

he only gives you a shrug, "i couldn't see where the camera was."

you smile up at him and pat his curls, "that's okay, i bet you still look cute." and just as his cheeks turn red, your photo comes out the printer.

"uh, see? i wasn't even looking," he mutters as he takes the photo and hands it to you. and he's right, he really wasn't looking. instead, he was looking at you with the same doe eyes you gave him before. you smirk up at him and you swear he stepped back in caution, "one more, please?"

❊ ATSUMU matches your pace, skipping like children off on a field trip for the first time. when you told him you saw a photo booth not far from the place you two were eating, he let you drag him out without another word. it never was hard to drag atsumu to do silly things with you, in fact, it's the two of you's little thing.

you let out a squeal as atsumu grabs a hold of you, sitting you down on his lap. "first pose is this." he beams his toothy grin at the camera and you can't help but do the same.

the shutter goes off and you tear yourself off of him to get ready for your next pose, but your footing fails you and you find your face taking up half of the shot.

"nooooo" you groan as the shutter goes off once again. atsumu just gives up his secure hold on you and throws a peace sign in the air as another shot is taken, your frown and pout clearly displayed on the screen.

"alright, last one. com' here," atsumu pulls you in again and chuckles at the pout that still hasn't left your lips. you wrap your arms around him, not caring about what you look like anymore. and just as the shutter goes off, he presses his lips to your cheek with an animated smooching sound. you light up and an unintentional grin escapes your lips.

"it's a mess," atsumu chuckles as you furrow your eyebrows at your photo. you let out a groan and his smile only doubles in size, "but i like it." he whispers as he pulls you in and kisses your head.

you groan, still upset over the whole ordeal. "why though? it’s so... chaotic."

his chest vibrates with laughter and he squeezes you even tighter, "exactly. it’s just like ya."

Things they do out of love

to show that love isn’t always explicit

OIKAWA corrects your food order even when you tell him not to mind it. “excuse me, they asked for (/no) pickles” while ignoring the feeling of your hand nudging his arm. he will absolutely not let your order fly off the roof like that. oikawa calls it ‘standing up for you.’ you tell him that he’s the real bully.

KITA cleans you up with a warm cloth when you’re passed out on the couch from exhaustion. he’d be extremely careful with it too; gently rubbing the cloth on your arms and over your face. if the cloth starts to get cold mid-way, kita will go back to get it warmed up again.

BOKUTO won’t move beside your sleeping figure even when his arms go numb. you’d have your head on his arm for way too long but he can almost never find it in himself to move in case he’d accidentally stir you awake. you’ll never know the pain he goes through because bokuto wouldn’t dare tell you.

KIYOKO offers you a small plate of carefully cut fruits and vegetables — or rather, slides it over to your desk and leaves the room like nothing happened. sometimes you won’t even be in the room when it happens, so it’s a warm surprise to come back to.

TERUSHIMA gets a to-go order when he’s hanging out with his friends so he can come home and surprise you with food. it could even just be a burger or a small order of fries that he chose not to eat because he knows how much you love them.

KAGEYAMA heard that you really liked this thing so he came back with over 10 packs of the same product. be it a snack, facial product, or whatever the heck it is; it’s going to show up on your kitchen counter. can you even see the counter at this point? kageyama happens to pass by just as you see his surprise and he only says, “i heard you like them...”

USHIJIMA covers you with a blanket when you happen to fall asleep unintentionally. he’d pick out your favorite one too. if you happen to fall asleep on the couch, he’d be on guard with the possibility of you falling off (because it’s happened before). turn a little too much, and he’ll gently push you right back.

IWAIZUMI offers to put lotion on your back but always ends up massaging you as he’s lathering the product on your skin. it’s mostly intentional, since he wants to make sure you’re well taken care of. don’t worry if you accidentally fall asleep because of his massage.

YAMAGUCHI will do your laundry and fold your clothes before you wake up sometimes. he knows how hard you work, and how hard it can be to get up. so he’ll tip-toe into your room and take care of your chores as a way to let you get some more rest. and, no need to thank him (as he always insists).

TENDOU switches everyone’s attention on to him so that you don’t have to face the anxiety of speaking up. his attempts aren’t that noticeable — until one day you’re with a group of friends and they ask you to narrate a game. just as you’re beginning to stutter your way to it, tendou volunteers to do it instead. he sees relief on your face, to which he smiles at.

OSAMU would stay up to make onigiri’s for your potluck even when you insist that he should go to bed instead. it’s about 1 am by now, and your eyes have already started to droop along with your shoulders. osamu takes one look at you and assures you that he can finish the rest on his own; “i’m not tired yet,” he promised.

YACHI adds a little more to your plate of food because she knows how much you love that specific dish. it’s pretty noticeable too, so you confronted her about it once. but yachi simply denied and said that it was all unintentional, and that it’s fine because she doesn’t really like it as much as you do.

ARAN leaves a cup of water on your nightstand. once you woke up in the middle of the night with a dry throat, and ever since then he’s always insisted that you have a glass of water nearby. you always forget, he knows, that’s why he makes a note to get you one before he leaves for the day.

SAKUSA scolds you about not having appropriate clothing for the weather. so he sacrifices a piece of his for your comfort. it doesn’t matter — it could be pouring outside, snowing, or simply burning hot, sakusa’s instincts are to take care of you. your health is a priority to him as well, don’t ever forget it.

AKAASHI will wait in an extremely long line and let you wander about as he waits. you offered to do the waiting instead but he insisted that he’d rather do it than go shopping around the mall. just don’t forget to bring him back a bit of food or something so he doesn’t get too bored waiting.

KUROO takes a couple minutes out of his day to remind you to eat, drink water, and take your meds if you have to. he actually has reminders set on his phone (because even he forgets). don’t think of it as pestering you, kuroo simply wants to make sure that you’re taking care of yourself even when he’s not there.

AONE will listen to you rant about your favorite thing even if he doesn’t really get it. please, do help this man out. you could be five minutes into your topic and he still wouldn’t understand. but it’s okay, judging by the soft smile on his face, he seems to be enjoying it.

TSUKISHIMA isn’t afraid to shush guests when you’re sleeping in the other room. he knows that you have trouble sleeping sometimes, so he’ll try and help you out in subtle ways — though not so subtle when he’s whisper-yelling at kageyama and hinata to keep their big mouths shut because they’ll wake you up.

KENMA leaves the bedroom with little to no silence so he won’t accidentally wake you up when he goes to stream. he likes to check in from time to time during his little breaks, making sure that he hasn’t woken you up at all. if he notices that your blanket or pillow has fallen, he’ll simply tuck it back in as if nothing had happened. though, he’d probably make light fun of you the next morning.
