Despite the unexpected turn of events, Peyton embraced the responsibility with an unwavering love for Rose and their unborn child. Tragedy struck when Rose passed away on the day their daughter, Lori, was born. It wasn't Lori's fault, just an accident. Jennifer died right after Rose's death, she was 50 and died from cancer. That devastated Peyton and destroyed his mental health having the two most important women die in his life, he fell into a deep depression and nearly had Lori taken away but he managed to get himself back together. Now, he's been a firefighter for ten years, facing danger with courage. No matter what, he finds comfort in knowing Lori eagerly awaits his return home.

• Peyton got his tattoo the moment he and Rose decided on a name for his daughter, he regretted getting it when Rose died but has no regrets in the current.

In addition to being brash and estranged from both of his parents, Ezekiel suffers from commitment issues as a result of growing up in a broken home with little understanding of what marriage looks like, it is possible for them to be neurotic and defensive, but their sense of humor is generally unsophisticated. They deeply want to feel taken care of and valued, to the point that they may intentionally put themselves in dangerous situations just to see if they'll be saved, or cause some sort of harm to themselves so that they can have the experience of people around them caring for them, sometimes pretends to be sick or hurt then they're not, etc. They see that this can cause issues in their life and are trying to get rid of these impulses, but they still can't seem to shake the feelings that drive them.

His marriage with Claudia was solely a result of her pregnancy; he did not wish to have any more children, but Claudia forced him to have ten children, he and Raziel were very close, and he could talk to Raziel about anything, when his younger brother left his family at 16, Ezekiel was devastated and fell into a severe depression, almost committing suicide, but Gabriel intervened. As a result, he is now living a life of crime and addictions while maintaining his perfect family image in public
