The thought ran through your mind multiple times before the round, cast iron clock on the wall of the small bakery struck four p.m. You told your boss again and again you had to leave by three thirty, making it extra clear you couldn’t stay a minute later or else. To which he informed you, “Of course! No problem!”

Yet, he manages to keep you busy putting away stock, cleaning out the fridge, and making one special delivery of sweets to a preferred customer before you’re on your way to Jung’s Dance Studio - a thirty minute walk from your boss’ client that gives you enough time to contemplate the inevitable.

“i got it!” you call out and hurry over to the counter

“beat you to it” you grin when jungkook appears behind you not a second later “another point for me!! yoongi!!”

yoongi looks up from his magazine and a smirk twitches at the corner of his mouth  

“ooh, kook. pick up the pace, buddy!” yoongi tsks as he adds another stroke to your side of the board

he sighs and kicks his legs up onto the counter before grabbing his magazine
