Pelican Point Lodge is a destination on its own, rather than just a stopover at the coast. The Pelican Point Lodge is a lighthouse oasis built upon Namibia’s most famous sandspit. Within the small structural confines are ten private suites, each of which offers a slightly different view of the point and/or interior aesthetic.

Surrounded by the bruteness of the Atlantic Ocean and the calm waters of Walvis Bay, Pelican Point Lodge is situated on the tip of the Pelican Point Peninsula in the Dorob National Park, and is therefore in the epic centre with all Marine focussed activities the Namibian Skeleton Coast has to offer. Stretching over endless beaches, one can watch the ghostly mist roll into the lagoon, with ships looming mysteriously in the distance.

Die Pelican Point Lodge ist von der Brutalität des Atlantischen Ozeans und dem ruhigen Wasser der Walvis Bay umgeben und befindet sich an der Spitze der Pelican Point-Halbinsel im Dorob-Nationalpark. Sie befindet sich daher im epischen Zentrum aller maritimen Aktivitäten das die namibischen Skelett Küste zu bieten hat.

Über endlose Strände kann man den gespenstischen Nebel in die Lagune rollen sehen, in dessen Ferne sich auf mysteriöse Weise Schiffe abzeichnen.

Katutura is a township of Windhoek in Namibia. Katutura is Otjiherero for "The place where we do not want to live". Katutura was created in 1961 as an aftermath of the forced removal of Windhoek's black population from the Old Location, which later was developed into the suburb of Hochland Park. The Windhoek municipality and the South African colonial administration decided to forcefully move the residents of the Old Location 8 kilometres to the north of the city. Sam Nujoma Stadium, built in 2005, is located within Katutura. Katutura Community Radio, a community-based radio station, also operates from the township as well Katutura State Hospital, one of two State Hospitals in the Windhoek area.

Das Nguni-Rind stand Pate. Wie der Umriss seines Kopfes mit den weit ausladenden Hörnern, liegen die Chalets der neuen Etosha King Nehale Lodge in der spektakulären Landschaft der Andoni-Ebene. Es ist nur ein Katzen-, oder sagen wir besser: ein Löwensprung zum nördlichsten Tor des Etosha-Nationalparks, dem Eintritt ins Paradies der wilden Tiere. Artesische Quellen locken Herden von Gnus, Springböcken, Antilopen und Konsorten in das endlose Grasland.

Strikingly set on the Andoni plains, one kilometre from Etosha National Park’s King Nehale gate is new Etosha King Nehale Lodge. The lodge effortlessly portrays the shape of an Nguni cattle head, with chalets stunningly furrowed to the north and south, from the central area like a bull’s horns. Artesian sources lure herds of wildebeest, springboks, antelopes and companions into the endless grasslands.

Der Chapman’s Peak Drive ist eine neun Kilometer lange Küstenstraße auf der Kap-Halbinsel südlich von Kapstadt. Er schlängelt sich in 114 Kurven unmittelbar zwischen Meer und steilen Felswänden entlang von Hout Bay nach Noordhoek und führt über den Chapman’s Peak, einen 160 Meter hoch gelegenen Aussichtspunkt. Touristen und Einheimische halten häufig an den Aussichtspunkten entlang dieser Straße an, die einen spektakulären Blick auf die Hout Bay, den Sentinel Peak und die Umgebung sowie auf die unberührten Sandkilometer am Noordhoek Beach bieten. Autohersteller aus aller Welt drehen hier gerne ihre Werbespots.

Bullet-ridden Hudson Terraplane 1934 car wreck remains near Klein Aus Vista Lodge's Geisterschlucht Cabin in southern Namibia, just off main tar road between Keetmanshoop and Luderitz. Hudson is a relic from a gunfight between diamond smugglers and police force. Thieves were killed during skirmish but smuggled diamonds were never found. Dead smugglers' ghosts are rumoured to roam the valley during the night in search of their lost diamonds. There are some stone ramparts further along the walking trail visible dating back from WWI days (1914-18). There the German forces built fortifications in the Aus hills to make a stand against the South African Union forces.

Das von Kugeln durchlöcherte Autowrack des Hudson Terraplane von 1934 befindet sich in der Nähe der Geisterschlucht-Hütte. Auf dem Gelände der Klein Aus Vista Lodge im Süden Namibias, direkt an der Hauptteerstraße zwischen Keetmanshoop und Lüderitz. Der Hudson ist ein Relikt aus einem Schusswechsel zwischen Diamantenschmugglern und Polizei. Die Diebe wurden während eines Gefechts getötet, aber geschmuggelte Diamanten wurden nie gefunden. Den Geistern der toten Schmuggler wird nachgesagt, dass sie nachts auf der Suche nach ihren verlorenen Diamanten durch das Tal streifen. Es gibt einige Steinmauern weiter entlang des Wanderwegs, die aus der Zeit des Ersten Weltkriegs (1914-18) stammen. Dort bauten die deutschen Streitkräfte in den Aus-Hügeln Befestigungen, um sich gegen die Armee der Südafrikanischen Union zu stellen.
