In one of the chatrooms, Beel mentions that Mammon told him that talking to flowers helps them grow faster. In another chatroom, Luke says that Beel told him the same thing because he heard it from Mammon first.

Headcannon: Back in the Celestial Realm, when they were still kids, Belphie loved flowers (headcannon: he still does) and Mammon wanted to help him grow one but didn't know any good tips. He asked Lucifer who told him that talking to flowers helps them grow faster. Lucifer knew that Belphie was a shy angel and hardly had friends apart from the rest of his brothers and so, having him talk to a flower might give him social skills.

Now, in the Devildom, Belphie and Lucifer have forgotten about this but Mammon still continues to share the tip because he believes his older brother's word and doesn't want anyone to be lonely.
