Two versions! One with and one without fancy lighting and stuff!

It's just a scene I imagined, with Amelia being roped into helping Samantha with carrying things around because, well, the cat doesn't have thumbs.

I meant to post this a while ago! I spent a bit of time to make this as a base so I could draw my own stuff on top of it later.

So now other people can use it, too! (For free? credit maybe? idk? I never done anything like this before tbh)

I did so by taking the posters for books one and two, and simply doing my best to draw in what was missing. A lit of color picking and messing around with different brushes, but I'm proud of the results!

Okay, hear me out... The Willoughbys, but its a ghost horror movie, The Others style.

Is there a word for positive ranting? Because ima do that. A while ago, probably a few months, a made a little animatic. By little a mean minute long.

I have a habit of never finishing things, but lately i've been trying to break that habit. I start things then get distracted and do other things, or i get a decent way through them and then decide 'if i can't make it perfect i shouldn't make it at all'.

which is silly.

So i figured i'd never do anything with the animatic. Then a month later i made all the backgrounds because why not? I had fun making them, too. turns out snow is kind of fun to color.

Then i left it alone, then a month~ later i picked it up again and animated it all. I actually animated it! Then i carefully left it alone for a few days before coming back to render it.

I could go on a rant about rendering. At first a rendered all of the pieces in a few parts because i thought i could do transparent layers and separate effects on each layer, but blender didn't like that, so no.

So i had to re-render EVERYTHING and slap that together and render it, because for some reason i really had it planned to render everything in parts? Probably for effects and stuff but it still didn't work.

Anyways it took a few days, and i genuinely pondered how many people, like i had, stared at a screen in dismay solely because of compositing.

But i rendered everything and added in the effects i wanted, which was hard because i had to learn the basics of compositing and GOD it took so long to render! I just left my computer on and went to bed-

But i finished it! Sure it took months of on and off work but i did it! I finished something and i'm so proud of it. If i could, i'd hang it up on my wall, but alas, you can't capture the beauty of animation in a single frame.

A while ago, i thought it would be a fun idea to draw scenes from cool fanfics i've read! So i decided to do that. Here's my first one!

I got carried away with lighting, and i've never tried drawing a roller skating rink before (much less people skating) but this is as good as it's going to get!

Kez is telling Mikayla some funny story, Ryan is said something to Min-Gi, Blake is too busy watching Turnip, and Grace is simply happy.

The fanfic is 'Rolling with the Punches' by Msbadatnamingthings!

For the record, I think 'Rolling with the Punches' is a pretty good name for the story!
