She swallowed nervously and pulled herself off of Keitaro’s noticeably warm body before clearing her throat.

She tapped the samurai’s shoulder and turned herself around, her back facing him.

“… You’re all done! My turn, please!”

She dipped her fingertips into the water and swept her hand back and forth, creating small waves as pictures of the Ninja War flashed in her mind.

“It was… Intense. I’m glad that I was put to use, but… I wish that the fighting didn’t have to happen.”

Izumi nodded as he spoke, listening intently to what he had to say until her head snapped back towards him at the mention of his vision loss. The Great Ninja War took many things from Shinobi and Samurai alike, but somehow, Izumi came out of it practically unscathed. She counted herself extremely lucky for that.

“Keitaro, I’m… Sorry to hear about your vision. Here… Let’s go so that we can get you all cleaned up, hm?”

The pure warm water lapped at the Uchiha’s now bare body as she tenderly wiped Keitaro’s back from behind, the blood staining the white washcloth crimson.

“Is this okay? I think I’ve nearly gotten all of the blood off of you- Oh, wait… Right there.”

She stood up as high as she could on her tippy toes to reach the blood splatter on the back of his neck, accidentally pressing her exposed chest against him.

“Ack- S-sorry! I slipped!”
