IM GOING FERAL I NEED MORE

A little while ago, I shared a snippet of my current Redactedverse WIP, which is a Princess Bride AU (with some twists and turns.) Find that here. I'm beyond excited about this story and so look forward to being able to share it with you all soon. Until then, here's another snippet...

“A word, my lord,” a man called, walking out from behind a tree, followed by another, shorter man. It didn’t take David long to deduce that they, too, were wolves. “We are but poor, packless shifters,” the first man said. The pair stood there listlessly. “Is there a village nearby for us to find some food and perhaps, a place to stay?” David shook his head, hackles raising. “There’s nothing nearby,” he answered gruffly. “Not for miles.”  The shorter man smiled, resting his hands at the hilt of the sword hanging on his hip. “Then there won’t be anyone to hear you howl.” David began to initiate a shift when a sudden waft of sleeping magic suddenly enveloped his every sense. He swayed on his feet, reverting back into a human. He knew something was wrong, very wrong, but he couldn’t possibly muster up the strength or the coherence to do a thing about it. Babe wasn’t too far behind him. They always rode on horseback to keep up with David while he was shifted. David’s heart lurched as he wondered what would happen to Babe if they stumbled upon this scene. His cousin was formidable, but how could they face off against two wolves?  “Watch it, Sweetheart!” the wolf ordered. “He’s going down hard!”  David’s sluggish brain tried to make sense of what that was supposed to mean, but he felt his knees buckle and his face smack into the forest floor. A person in a green shirt and black vest materialized in front of his eyes, but David couldn’t keep them open for a moment longer. The blurry haze was too irresistible, and David succumbed.  “Mission accomplished,” Sweetheart announced triumphantly. “One prince shifter: immobilized.” They scoffed. “Easily.”

Milo and ChronicPain!Sweetheart

- Sweetheart who told themselves they wouldn't tell Milo about their pain because they weren't sure whether he was serious about their relationship but when it gets serious they get scared and don't tell him for a long time

- Milo who finds out on a random Tuesday when Sweetheart asks him to get hand lotion from the bathroom and he happens to see their intense pain killer "collection"

- sweetheart who has bought every type of painkiller ever because they thought they could fix it if they just tried hard enough

- Milo who actually did feel a little hurt at first but immediately researches their condition and learns everything he can

- when Sweetheart has an extremely rough pain day with Milo there for the first time, Milo is still absolutely unprepared so when the flare up is over they make a Google doc with every symptom they can have and everything that Milo can do to help. They both update it regularly.

- Milo who, after he found out, starts noticing how sweetheart pushes their limits even more than he thought they did and who gets extremely worried about them when work gets tough.

- sweetheart who genuinely can't tell when they are overdoing it and Milo who has to sit them down and have a difficult conversation with them about how he doesn't want them to keep going like this because he genuinely is scared they might work themselves to death.

- sweetheart who has been so used to pain 24/7 and who never really told their family about it, who is now confronted with someone (passively) sharing the effects their condition has and who has to work through a lot of guilt concerning this.

- but to end on a good note: Milo who massages the sore spots, who always has a second plan for a date night when their pain gets worse suddenly, who calls their work for them when they need a sick day, who encourages and supports sweetheart as they try out different mobility aids

- bonus: Aggro who seems to know whenever it starts to get bad and who then spends every moment with sweetheart in bed snuggled up close to them

Just because someone posts about something that isn’t probable doesn’t mean you have to go out of your way to say something negative about it.

“Oh, I didn’t mean to be negative.” Think about what you said. If someone posts something that isn’t morally wrong, problematic, and/or won’t truly affect you and you still choose to bring you opinion, an opposing opinion, to a space where it was never asked for…it sounds like you’re being pretty negative to me.

But again, that’s just my opinion. It’s not like it’s common sense or whatever. (Ahem sarcasm)

Go ahead. If you say you want to see a character play a game that acquires character customization then say it. If you want an audio that caters towards a specific group of people then say it. It doesn’t matter if it’s not probable, it’s what you want. So wear that shit like a badge, bro.

We’re on a goddamn social media app, stop trying to trash other peoples (unproblematic) takes. Ofc people aren’t gonna always agree with you. If it annoys you then here’s some advice.
