alright y’all. Today is the day. I’m getting my decade-long-awaited doctor’s appointment today after trying to find someone who will take my case who actually knows what my condition is literally since I was eleven. I have been dealing with seizures, heart palpitations, random POTS symptoms (???), migraines, insomnia, tremors, muscle weakness, memory loss, brain fog, and a thousand other symptoms that I cannot control and cannot manage or mitigate and today is the day we actually start doing tests to see what’s causing them and how to fix them. I have a lot of suspicions about this but this is the Getting Answers. also possibly an Autism diagnosis soon. Hhhhgghhhhh it’s a lot. Prayer would be much appreciated, if you do pray? And either way, if you do or don’t pray/believe in that stuff, could y’all reblog this with something I could pray for you about? I’d like to try to spend my morning as best I can without catastrophizing XD Praying for others is honestly the most effective way of shutting off that part of your brain, so really y’all are doing me a favor.

let us not forget those known as Karens. A pack of these folk can easily send the staff into a panic, driving production to a halt and disrupting the ecosystem of a store. Alone they are much more controllable, despite constant demands for the manager.

props to my design tech teacher, who upon learning I had burnt a gash into my thumb with a soldering iron said:

congratulations, in all my years of teaching I’ve never had a student burn themselves. You are the second person this week and ever to do so.

I proceeded to walk outside, hold my thumb under the tap for a couple minutes (it was numb so I wasn’t feeling any pain) and walk back inside to see her filling out paperwork.

she looked at me and said:

So did you burn yourself? I said yeah, and she repeated the question. I (catching on) said no, and watched her tear the paperwork in two and chuck it in the bin.
