ORV is a book by the readers, for the readers
it IS super funny that orv starts out like "hoo hee i'm just a normal self-inserty power fantasy protagonist! my name is literally 'reader!' just an office worker turned action hero you can project onto slash look up to 🥰" and then very quickly shows that 1. no the fuck he isn't and 2. the story is a detailed interrogation of the nature of self-insert escapist power fantasy. and then the endgame twist that hits you like an emotional freight train is that orv is, in fact, actually very much a self-insert story about how you 🫵 are deeply loved and your survival matters so much that this book was written just to help you find reasons to live. idiot.

So obviously she's not 18 or 19. She's 20 above.
And in Korea 19 is the age of an adult.

These 2 are hot. They act like gay dads who aren't really gay but act gay and are on the verge of getting a divorce and fighting over Jiwoo's custody. Genius+Genius = Stupid.

The entire album screams such found family vibes, I could go on about it. It really is about the teen feelings, the companionship you find with your friends, the invincibility you find in that comforting friendship.

It's all about those fleeting, powerful moments that you wish could last forever. And when you're older and less free, you look back at those moments and the love that grew from it
400 Lux is a gorgeous song and Pure Heroine will forever be both visceral and damning at once :')

Wrong.
The true recurring theme of eleceed is Kayden giving Jiwoo head pats at any given moment
favourite thing in the world is when the pages of a book go all soft and yellowy and the edges are slightly fuzzy and rounded. these books couldn’t give you a papercut if you tried they’ve been loved too much. they love you too much
The beauty of storytelling and underlying theme of omniscient readers viewpoint is incredible and deserves a post dedicated to it
ORV, at its core, is truly a story for the readers. This is the POV of someone who grew up with stories, loved them, lived them, just like most of us in this app
It's a story for those who would eagerly wait to read new books. For those who'd keep a little book in their schoolbag all the time, carrying it wherever we'd go. For those who'd lose themselves in words and new worlds. For those who lived and breathed in the books we read
To love a piece of literature so much that it becomes entwined with your very existence.
It's about us readers, who exist for stories and a love letter to all those pieces of literature that leave a mark on us.
In the end, ORV is nothing but an ode to it's reader

1) Whatever the hell Kayden and kartein have going on
2) Seriously their dynamic is so intriguing
3) Kayden calling Kartein the most beautiful awakened one living in my head rent free
4) Kayden somehow having Kartein's private phone number???
5) Kartein, infamous for not answering healing requests, shows up after 1 request from Kayden
6) Kayden always standing guard when Kartein is vulnerable while healing 🥹
