Someone who doesn’t watch blood battle blockade try to explain this
“So.”
He shifted over into a different position, hoping that his blade would Intimidate the child.
“If goblins are a thing, is there a king?” She leaned backwards onto the wall. Raising her cuffed hands and pointed to the pile of sleeping goblins.
He nearly, almost chuckled at that, he struggled for a solid minute to not drop his form.
“That’s your question?” The rock beast asked, sitting on a pile of troll and human bones not far from them.
Again. The kid just simply gestured to the goblins. “Like in that movie.”
There was another changeling not far. They were ordering something else to move things about. Their sound of muffled laughing was cut short by another question.
“You’ve been captured by creatures of the night and the first thing you ask if there’s a king.” He put away his trustful sword and angrily pointed at the disgusting goblins.
“For those filthy things?”
The beast crunched on some bones before growing frustrated and spit out the remainders.
“What movie?”
The kid glanced over at the beast. Not at all bothered by the man eating creature.
“You know, labyrinth. Mama liked that movie.”
The changeling groaned and pulled out his sword again. He swung it right in front of her.
“No there is no king for those things.” She was about to cut him off with a whine but he hushed her. “But they work in groups with a leader.”
The kid lit up in joy. “Like tribes and shit?” The beast coughed on some bone and started hacking.
For the third time this night the changeling groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose. A habit form among the humans.
“Why aren’t you scared?” He lowered his hand to glare at the annoying brat.
The girl laughed softly and leaned forward.
“Scared? I’m completely terrified!” That giant smile on her face would say otherwise.
This time she completely slouched forward. Not seeming to care at all when his blade peck the side of her forehead.
“It’s not everyday you find out that your biology teacher is a changeling!”
