To any Witcher fan who was excited to see Thue as Eskel, let’s still support him! It must have been a really hard decision to quit such a big project and as a Danish actor it’s not as easy to find a big role like a native English speaker would (how many Danish actor do you know who made it big?) And a role in the Witcher would have given him lots of exposure.

We were already in love with him and he’s been very nice to the fans so lets show him lots of love on Instagram and on Twitter (link on reblog cause it won’t show up in tags) to tell him we’re sad to see him go but we wish him good luck and we’re excited to see him do new things. And that just because he’s not in the show anymore it doesn’t mean we’ll forget him! And maybe he can come back to the Witcher in another role.

So maybe just leave him a nice comment on either of those links? Just to show some love and support and good luck for the rest of his career.

If there’s another bard at a tavern, make sure to keep an eye on your bard, they get territorial over people. They will even start fights at times, keep that from happening.

Let the bard wash your hair and check your wounds if they want to, bards smell of fear if they can’t, and that’s a no go.

If angry, don’t lash out at the bard. This makes the bard sad, and a sad bard is a no go.

When bards have a new song, listen to it and give a three word review. This will make the bard happy, they like reviews.

It’s really the main reason I’m so hooked on Geralt/Eskel right now! I’m very grateful because it’s so much fun developing this, and I can’t wait to show you more!!!

Papa Vesemir & Baby Eskel

- Eskel is only a few months old when Vesemir brings him home to Kaer Morhen.

- Vesemir was panicking internally the entire ride to the keep because he has no idea what to do with a pup so tiny.

- He’s determined to figure it out though because he loves his new son more than life immediately.

- Baby Eskel sleeps in a crib next to Vesemir’s bed at night

- He keeps his dad awake, as Vesemir can’t stand to let him cry. He goes to his son every time he makes even the slightest whimper for anything.

- Tired Dad Vesemir feeding his pup a third bottle at four in the morning

- Tired Dad Vesemir hauling Eskel around in a makeshift baby carrier while he gives fencing lessons

- His students love the baby. All they want to do is coo at him and Vesemir has to force himself to stay in teacher mode and tell them all to get back to their drills.

- Papa Vesemir feeding little Eskel mashed up veggies and fruits and sighing when his pup makes a mess of himself in the process.

- Vesemir’s younger brothers trying to trick Eskel into trying a lemon slice and Vesemir whacking them over the heads with a broom for pulling such a cruel prank on his pup

- Papa Vesemir teaching baby Eskel to walk and talk

- Eskel saying his first words and taking his first steps

- Vesemir spoiling his son with all sorts of stuffed animals and toys to play with

- Cranky uncle Rennes finally admitting that the pup is adorable when he sees Vesemir passed out in his armchair with tiny Eskel snuggled against his chest.

- Papa Vesemir always snuggling his precious little pup
