✎ Which art movement would your FS and you be? ࿐ ˊˎ-

In each art movement you can see that certain topics are used… The brushstrokes are not the same, the colours are not the same, the painters are not the same. The aura and its aim are different. Each painting is as different as each relationship; discover yours.

PILE 1

(9 of wings – Queen of Gems)

Art Nouveau! (1890 – 1905) The modernist movement. As in this movement within this couple there will be a need for modernization, of new ideas and philosophy, of a new society.  Probably there’s a possibility that you both meet outside of your respective countries; your fs could be a foreigner. To get stuck (in life, in a country…) it’s a no for both of you; there’s a fear of getting lost in tradition and to waste your time doing what everyone else is doing.

There’s an immense love for nature and for the artistic, for the artisanal. You both are interested into finding what’s true and what principles truly rule this Earth to extrapolate it into your love life.  You are not interested in social rules. There’s a fluidity and concentration on soft edges; some partner in here could be soft and curvy, easily blushed cheeks and the wear of floral clothes. Adoration flows from both partners.

Classicism- Classical antiquity. This art movement focused on the classical antiquity; the aesthetic was based in the culture, art and literature of ancient Greece and Rome, with an emphasis in structure, perfection, proportion, balance, and restrained emotion. This couple, you and your fs, have something that’s not easy to achieve: the perfect balance. You are equal, you are perfect.

It’s the kind of relationship that has the magic of the past, it’s as if you both had the needed wisdom inside of your soul to know what to do. All the love myths; all the mythology that feels real is a representation of your relationship. It’s complicated to explain. Your relationship holds the energy of the magic and the gods; the energy of someone that had their heart broken when reading a good poetry or a sad story. The energy when being inside an enormous building (a cathedral, a temple), feeling so small but as part of something so big.  Something so sentimental but that looks regal because they know how to hide their feelings.

Baroque and Rococo. These two art movements were extravagant, big, luxurious, and grand.  Even when you think of them as similar, they were not the same because Rococo evolved from Baroque.

Your relationship with your future spouse is one of evolution; it will start as the Rococo movement, it will be feminine, extravagant, pinkie, powerful, romantic, happy, ethereal and with a lot of courtship. Think about Marie Antoinette.  It will be a time of total debauchery and happiness. A complete honeymoon, I see some romantic picnics in such beautiful gardens.

But then it will evolve into something more serious, more spiritual. The Baroque was darker, more complex and with lots of lights and darks (claro-oscuro/ chiaroscuro) to create contrast in the paintings. It also held a more religious meaning, while the relationship lasts, it will grow deeper. Marriage will come and it will hold a feeling of religious devotion. Such an emotional and heavy relationship. There will also be a grown in trust and both of you will start emotionally open to the other.

Lmao, I decided to watch Heathers the musical with Dionysus and he absolutely HATED it 😭 He said his favorite part was when I kept pausing it. He rated It 1/10

If anyone wanted to know, his favorite character is JD, he would play as Veronica (ofc he has to be the main character), and his least favorites were Veronica (even though he would play as her 🤨) and Yellow heather (I don’t know her last name 😭).

Trans women and nonbinary people who dress femininely (no matter if they are amab or not) are the closest to the image of Aphrodite that anyone will ever be, actually.

Note, I am finding these threads on the twitter feeds of ICU nurses who are now dreading the horrors that Roe falling will bring to their hospitals. This, on top of the horrors that they’ve seen and continue to see because of the pandemic. They were already exhausted and hanging by a thread.

No winning, no matter what.

So my coworker (lab mate?) is partially deaf and was given a sign language interpreter by the university (so he doesn't pay for anything) and also got one at his new job, which is really cool.

I didn't realize just how hard sign language interpreters work until I started interacting with his interpreter.

Any time I need a Zoom call from my coworker to get him to explain some machine learning stuff to me, his interpreter joins the Zoom call.

During 2 hour lab meetings, he has 2 interpreters that constantly switch so they don't get tired, and when there's only one, we have to take a break in the middle so she can rest.

Both his interpreters spent a lot of time reading complex scientific journal articles in machine learning in order to agree on what language to use during the lab meetings.

We went out for a lab lunch and everyone ordered all this delicious food...and the interpreter couldn't eat anything, because she had to work (my coworker said it's part of their job but still!).

She would constantly ask me what the group on the other side of the table was talking about so she could keep my coworker "in the loop" of the "office chatter" instead of only interpreting when someone spoke directly to him.

Having to struggle with words from other languages (I'm bilingual and when I mixed in some Urdu words, the interpreter asked me to translate so she could sign them). Also having to interpret conversations where everyone is interrupting each other.

Just...it's such an important job and I didn't realize how much work goes into it. Sign language interpreters are amazing and really do their part to not only "translate" for deaf people, but to make them feel included in all of the conversation.
