Holidayzz [Klaus X Reader]

Holidayzz [Klaus x Reader]

Holidayzz [Klaus X Reader]

Requested by Anonymous 🥱

One year, at least once, you wanted to test your limits and stay awake through the first half of your hibernation. Despite Klaus's fervent protests and insistence that you should be asleep, maybe even wandering around in a zombie-ish state. You were determined to see this through.

It was the first time you'd ever gotten a chance to even think about celebrating Christmas or New Year's. But mostly you were excited to celebrate Klaus's birthday. It felt only fair to make the attempt.

After weeks of just barely avoiding the call of your instincts, several cups of coffee, and very loud alarms set just after Klaus's own alarms to avoid waking him up, you realized just how badly you were affected by staying up like this.

Slumped over against walls, hardly able to keep your eyes open even when you stood in the perfectly shaded spots. No amount of cold or caffeine seemed to be able to keep you feeling alert for very long. You had lost entire hours of the day just from sitting down on the office couch.

And the fact that Klaus wouldn't wake you if he didn't have to.

It was the same few excuses and while you couldn't blame him for being worried... You did get tired of hearing 'You looked so peaceful' and 'I didn't notice you had dozed off'. Thankfully, Steven and K.K. didn't have such reservations. They were still deeply concerned, but as long as this was what you wanted, they would help you as much as they could.

K.K. resorted to jumping you every so often, squeezing your sides just a little so you would wake up. Steven however kept very subtly freezing certain, random, spots across your back. He didn't feel comfortable overstepping and going for truly delicate areas, but the sudden chill often caught your attention for a few seconds.

Klaus was not happy about any of this. He wrestled with himself over just turning off your alarms, or toting you to a nice quiet area, or even celebrating his birthday earlier than Christmas so you would go into hibernation.

Unfortunately for him, Dr. Estevez herself said there wasn't any kind of serious health ramifications to doing this. Only the possibility of becoming extremely groggy and irritable. The perma-tired look on your face was symptom ne, but you didn't have much of a temper to begin with. And even with the constant poking and prodding of the others, you never once snapped.

Though it was a miracle you made it to Klaus's slightly early birthday. Everyone compromised on this, even though you wouldn't be able to be there the day of. Klaus's worry was just too much, he couldn't keep going to the hospital because he was worried about you.

Looking around to see where you wandered off to, Klaus stopped when he noticed your silhouette out on the balcony. It wasn't like you to just leave social gatherings like this...

"Liebling?" Klaus was slow to approach, uncertain what was going through your mind, "Is everything okay?"

You looked back over your shoulder, exhaustion plain as day across your face, "Yeah... I was just... thinking."

The soft contact as Klaus rubbed your back, stepping up to the railing to offer some form of comfort, or at least his company.

"Is my stubbornness this past month just been selfishness?"

"Of course not..."

"You went to the hospital seven times because I wouldn't stay in bed." Klaus stopped for a moment, taken back by the sudden outburst, "I... I should have..."

"Shhh, it's okay Shatzi." He nuzzled against your shoulder, trying to think of some way he could make this sound better than it did in his head, "I... I know my reaction wasn't healthy, but I am glad I got to celebrate this year with you. It isn't your fault, I was the one being too stubborn for his own good."

You stood there, knowing there wasn't an easy answer to who got more of the blame. If there was even an argument given how little your reasons for blaming yourselves lined up. It sounded like the simplest cause-effect on paper, but hearing how Klaus felt about the situation, that complicated things.

"[Name], Liebling." Klaus tilted your chin so you'd look him in the eyes, "It was my fault for ending up in the hospital. I knew what worrying would do to my stomach. And I should have listened to Dr. Estevez, trusted her and you in this endeavor. You were merely trying to be a part of the holidays that you never experienced before. And I should have done more to prepare myself mentally against my own knee-jerk reactions to protect."

"I still should have just gone through my hibernation phase." You couldn't stop the tears falling from your eyes. Whether you were tired or just emotional didn't seem to matter, "None of this would have happened if I hadn't tried staying awake in the first place."

A small silence followed as Klaus carefully swiped his thumbs under your eyes, "I'm very glad you did so anyway mein Shatzi. It means the world to me that you would go through this for my sake."

Klaus knew that after tonight, you would go into hibernation. But that didn't mean he wouldn't make every second count until then. The combination of raw emotion, pure exhaustion, and the slightly romantic atmosphere lead him to leaning in. Pressing the softest of kisses to your lips, hoping he could better explain himself this way.

Day 28 [Steven/ Zed/ Raju]

Day 28 [Steven/ Zed/ Raju]

Prompt: "They wanted the monster they made..."

Steven

There had to be another way around this, there just had to be. Steven was currently watching you tear through people mercilessly. As if they were made of paper instead of flesh and bone. This was not like you, not in the slightest.

"[Name]!" He reached out, trying to grab your arm, to stop you if he could, "Please! This isn't like you!"

Steven's blood felt like pure ice as you turned to face him. It wasn't you looking back at him right now. He didn't know who you were in this moment.

"Steven, darling." Your voice was much crueler sounding, like when you tried crooning a villain monologue for laughs, "They want the monster they made. They asked for this and I'm happy to give them what they want."

You turned, pulling away from Steven, "Especially when I can finally ensure no one else has to suffer the way I did."

The grin on your face was sickening. A twisted contortion of ideals and morals that normally wouldn't even be possible for you.

And Steven knew it.

He latched onto your arm again, roughly tugging you back, "[Name], Amor. This isn't you." Steven made you look him in the eye, "We can figure out something else. There has to be another way to go about doing this. One where..."

You squinted at the sudden pause, "Go on, say it."

"One where you don't let them win!" Steven was desperate at this point, "Doing what they want you to do, being what they made you into. It's just letting them win. And I don't want to lose you [Name]. Not like this."

.

Zed

How could one human be this destructive? Was this even possible? Had you simply been holding back all this time? If so, why?

Had you been actively hiding this strength for a reason?

Zed couldn't take it anymore, he had to do something. Standing back and watching you sling these creatures, most of which were easily five or six times your size, around like rag dolls was getting out of hand. You were getting out of control and Zed needed to know why.

"[Name]! You have to calm down!" Zed just barely managed to grab your arm, yanking you off course a little, "Before you bury us in this building."

The chill of Zed's touch got to you quicker than his words did. As you looked down at his hand, the words mulled over in your mind. You knew he was right, it didn't take deep introspection to know Zed was right about the situation. But part of you didn't care, part of you wanted this. Deep down, you wanted to give in, to let loose on the people who wronged you.

You wanted to let your destructive tendencies run absolutely wild, just once.

"Zed," Your voice was low, not precisely ominous, though it was extremely close, "They want the monster they made. All this chaos, they brought it on themselves. And no one can change that."

There was a tense moment between the two of you, both looking the other dead in the eye. You moved first, stepping away from Zed.

"Not even you can change what I am."

.

Raju

None of this made any sense to Raju. Yes, he knew you had been captured by a blood breed when you were a child. He even knew you had been subjected to very dangerous procedures during that time. And while all of this information had been second-hand, being things you told him personally and not something he learned before he started dating you. Raju still had no idea what all that monster truly did to you, for you to be this vicious about slaughtering its underlings.

You were dead set on repaying the blood breed's cruelties ten-fold. Tearing through the lower-leveled monsters with ease. It would have been terrifying, had it not been Raju with you. He found this display of power to be very reassuring.

Because it meant you weren't a blood breed at all.

A deep, raspy breathing filled the silence as you regained your composure. Raju had been a little blind-sided by the sudden, violent outburst. All the chaos and destruction you were causing only solidified the fact that you would answer to no one. All the while, Raju just floated there, eyes clearly on you... though his face was as unreadable as ever.

"They wanted the monster they made, Raju." You started to explain, "I don't--"

"You're no monster [Name]." Raju cut you off as he floated closer to look you in the eye, "Hurt and upset perhaps, but not monstrous."

You couldn't understand this, you couldn't keep looking at him. Instead, you turned away. Though Raju wasn't having that in the slightest, he tugged your chin back to face him. Looking deep into your eyes, even though you still couldn't read him at all like this.

"We can easily show them why they never should have messed with you." He said, "And we will make them regret having laid even a single finger on you. I promise."

Misunderstanding [Klaus x Reader]

Misunderstanding [Klaus X Reader]

Requested by Anonymous 😳

After this morning you had no clue what to think. You thought Klaus was a gentleman but for some reason his way of coming onto you was extremely forward. Had you known Klaus was the kind to say something like that to your face...

You sorta jumped when the break room door opened. You weren't scared that Klaus would do anything. Whatever that was, Klaus wasn't predatory about it... at least, the look on his face seemed confused as yours. But the person making all the noise was just K.K. coming in to check up on you.

"Oh sweetie, what happened? Klaus told me his side." K.K. sat on the other side of the table, "What did he say to make you hide out in here?"

While K.K. only really knew to fingerspell, she could understand ASL well enough "WANT YOU SIT MY FACE"

K.K. covered her mouth with both hands to keep herself from howling. Klaus would absolutely never say that directly. She did blame herself a little, having encouraged Klaus to admit his feelings to you. She really should have helped more with the ASL research.

In an attempt to calm herself down, K.K. slapped the table slowly. You could only sit there and wait for an answer. She looked like she was about to burst from laughing. Was this normal for Klaus? Or were you just missing something important?

"Oh I'm gonna go kill Zapp."

You couldn't have had a more surprised look on your face if you had a cartoon ! over your head.

"Klaus mentioned Zapp helping him." K.K. was smiling, but now it was a bit more sinister, "And poor Klausie has been busy with paperwork, so it was much easier for Zapp to feed him the wrong information."

The perfect "O" you made was adorable to K.K.

"Klaus was trying to say he wanted to spend more time with you." K.K. got up, "I'll let him explain why."

The breakroom door slammed open from K.K. moving fast, though she winked before closing the door. This was confusing and kind of sweet. You were relieved it was merely a misunderstanding, and Zapp's fault more than Klaus's.

Though by the time you stepped into the main office, finally with your nerves under control, you were greeted by the sight of K.K. chasing Zapp around with an old newspaper.

Klaus was very shy in approaching you directly, his face almost the same shade as his hair. You had your reservations, but...

"SORRY WAS NOT MEANING THAT."

"WHY LIKE THAT" You tilted your head, "ABLE SPEAK CAN ASK AWAY DIFFERENT PLACE"

Klaus had to resort to fingerspelling to keep signing with you. He wanted to keep the conversation as private as possible, knowing that Steven wouldn't peek. That Zapp and K.K. were currently busy behaving like cats and dogs, as well as no one else was as well versed in any form of ASL.

"WANTED TO SURPRISE YOU WITH PROPER SIGN LANGUAGE." Klaus tried his best to move quickly, his large hands worked against him though, "THOUGHT IT WOULD MEAN MORE"

You covered your mouth, the weakest of snickers under your breath. That was precious, too precious. Though you had to wonder why he'd want to spend more time with you specifically. It wasn't like you were more than the newest member. Even Leo and Zed hadn't gone through a training phase under Klaus after all.

"PROPER ASL NOT THING" You swayed your head back and forth, "NOT WAY YOU THINK"

Klaus sheepishly rubbed the back of his neck, "WHAT YOU MEAN"

"FINGERSPELL SAME ASL WORK SAME"

"STILL WANTED TO TRY" Klaus glanced at you, glad that things had smoothed over so quickly, "THOUGHT WOULD BE GOOD SURPRISE FOR YOU. SEEING SOMEONE ELSE"

Klaus stopped awkwardly, he wasn't sure he wanted to fully reveal his hand just yet. Admitting outright how he felt right after such an egregious mistake on his part. Next time he won't trust Zapp so readily until he had a chance to double-check what he was really saying.

Heh heh heh [Klaus x Reader]

"Klaus? Do you have a minute?"

You heard the front door but didn't want to impose too badly. If anything, you wanted this to be a surprise for your lover. Not a nuisance after a long day of work.

"Is something wrong Liebling?" Klaus wasted no time tracking you down in the kitchen however, "What is it?"

Just before he could spot you, "Oh, its nothing serious. I just wanted to show you something."

You settled the cup of boba tea on your breasts, hoping this would actually work and not make a mess. Though, that was why you were in the kitchen to begin with. Tile floor would be much easier to clean than carpet after all.

Klaus however was left looking around the kitchen before realizing that you wanted him to look at you. And the heat rose on his face almost instantly.

His eye first caught what you were wearing, a tight boob window lingerie top and tight shorts. And nothing else that he could see. Klaus gulped his feelings down, that was exactly the kind of outfit he had been lowkey daydreaming about seeing you in.

Then he realized you were holding a cup atop your breasts. While that by itself didn't mean much, he couldn't help his hyper-awareness taking in the slight indent of attempting to balance the drink. And the beads of condensation rolling down into your cleavage.

Klaus just had to turn away, his nerves simply couldn't handle seeing you like this. In all honesty, he desperately wanted to ask you to stop. If only so he could carry you upstairs for a reenactment of his wandering thought process.

The idea of either made him incredibly flustered. And the look on your face wasn't helping. Especially with how you had to hold onto the straw and look up at him.

Klaus felt his head was going to explode any second now.

Delicate Bloom [Klaus x Reader]

Delicate Bloom [Klaus X Reader]

Requested by Anonymous 🌻

Despite the fact that the two of you hadn't been dating very long, you agreed to go to Klaus's childhood home with him. He mentioned wanting to show you the garden he use to tend with his grandmother, among other things he wanted to share with you.

You were more intimidated by the size of his house than anything else. And secretly wondering how his mother survived having so many children that were all towering over her now. Though all of his family were extremely polite, unnervingly so in some instances. Like Klaus dialed up to 15 constantly, and cloned over and over.

Once you were past all that, however, it was clear why Klaus wanted to show you around. His family seemed to be very strict about very peculiar things, like Klaus having an active love life. You couldn't help but wonder if this was Klaus's way of telling his parents that he was doing fine on his own.

Enjoying a nice afternoon stroll, completely alone in the garden, Klaus held your hand gently. He couldn't stop talking, something you were definitely not used to. But you hung onto his every word as he explained why each flower and plant was positioned this way, what each one meant.

Then he stopped at a very beautiful plant, a massive bush of flowers that looked like it needed to be trimmed a little. If only for its health.

"This is the old forsythia bush my great-great-grandmother planted." Klaus lifted a leave between his thumb and forefinger, gently rubbing the old plant, "It blooms every Spring in the most gorgeous yellow. As if it were trying to be a second sun."

You couldn't help but smile. He always sounded like an old romance novel, especially when he wanted to be romantic.

"Though you remind me far more of the tulips mien Liebling." Klaus turned to look at you, "So very vibrant and colorful and always conveying love in some form or other. Despite roses being more socially accepted as the flower of love, tulips were the original."

Klaus was completely bewildered as you began giggling at him. He sounded like an almanac now. It was so precious.

"Did... did I say something humorous?"

"No, it's not that." You grinned up at him, "It's just precious how you describe things. Like an old-fashioned love letter or one of those passion project romance novels. Its really sweet."

A slight blush rose on Klaus's face, "I believe you're much sweeter mein Liebling."

While it was a knee-jerk reaction to a sudden noise, you and Klaus both attempted to hide inside the forsythia bush. Upon realizing what it was you were currently doing, both of you chuckled.

Though Klaus couldn't quite stop himself. The way the sunlight struck your hair from between the leaves, the way the shadows danced across your face. Klaus leaned in without a second thought, utterly delighted as you returned the gesture.

A soft, hidden, stolen kiss among the flower buds.

Stare Down [Klaus x Reader]

Stare Down [Klaus X Reader]

Requested by Anonymous 🙊

"Check this out Pube head." Zapp snickered, "No way they see this coming."

Trying to relax while in the office was honestly kind of tedious, given how you typically looked bored and distant. It only meant Zapp would try annoying you, as if you didn't have enough reasons to not heal him.

It genuinely felt like almost everyone here went out of their way to get injured so badly. That was quite possibly the main reason you were hired to begin with. Being a well-renown healer with several different techniques up your sleeves, and tucked into your apron, making you one of the most guarded members on the battlefield.

Which suited you just fine, fighting wasn't really your thing. And without a voice, you couldn't warn anyone of anything. But at least you could hang back to offer support.

Though with a small wad of paper flying at you, it wasn't very fun for you. Especially given how signing out anything took too long for anyone to understand, or pay attention to you. Except for Klaus, he and K.K. were always good about sitting still long enough to listen to you.

You leaned back just enough to make it seem like Zapp missed his shot. It was satisfying to hear him ranting about his poor aim. At least he blamed himself and not noticing how you moved at all.

Klaus spotted it though, he wouldn't say anything. To him, it was rather impressive that you just sort of... knew everything going on around yourself. No matter how little you acted, you always just seemed to know and understand exactly what others needed.

It was difficult admitting to himself that such adoration had transformed into a much deeper respect, and later loving crush towards you. But Klaus would get there... eventually.

If only every time he had a chance to speak to you in private wasn't one where he needed your assistance.

Most everyone else was quite used to your low grumbling. Not quite words, but rather something you managed to do with a complex system of grunts and nostril flares. Something Klaus himself had never experienced first-hand. No matter how bruised he got.

Being stopped as soon as he made it into the office however...

Klaus was not ready to deal with you snapping at him to sit down.

"I'm perfectly fine [Name]. I promise." He raised both hands in surrender, "It's merely a small series of nics from my razor."

That wasn't fooling you in the slightest. You could see the large scrapes across his forearms. Snapping at the couch once again while looking the tall, red-haired man in the eye. Klaus knew exactly what you wanted and why.

And he was trying to stall as much as he possibly could.

"[Name], I assure you--"

Fine! if Klaus wanted to be stubborn, you could just heal him while standing. Having taken him by surprise with a cold poultice made of rosemary and agave cactus. Both plants with restorative properties, ones you could amplify with your abilities.

Klaus couldn't help but be mesmerized by the soft, warm glow around your hands. It didn't register as a color, at least not one on the visible light spectrum. But the light still bounced off your eyes just right in Klaus's opinion.

Though he would die before he told you that.

After a few moments of holding still, "Ah, thank you [Name]. That feels much better. Though you needn't spend all your energy on myself. I'm certain Zapp will find a way to be injured by the time he enters the office."

You blinked slowly at Klaus. It wasn't something you'd tell him directly, but Zapp coming in injured was his own fault. And you weren't responsible for his every little boo-boo. But that didn't stop you from telling Klaus "off" about not going to the couch.

No, you made that frustration very clear by motioning to him, then the clock, then the couch. It didn't help that Klaus was also highly perceptive and knew exactly what you meant.

"Next time go to the couch."
