Yesterday I felt like doing a ton of sketching and after doing some Sims fanart I did some ace attorney fanart ✧⁠◝⁠(⁠⁰⁠▿⁠⁰⁠)⁠◜⁠✧

Originally I was going to do one page with a bunch of ace attorney characters on one page but after drawing the first Mia portrait (the one I coloured in with crayons) I felt like I had finally found how I want to draw Mia in my art style! So I dedicated the whole page to her because I was hyped to draw more Mia!

Than I still felt like drawing but, decided to draw a different aa character on the next page and picked Ema, cuz she's a cool character and, I haven't drawn her with my dominant hand until now :3. also gave her a shirt with a myth busters reference cuz I feel like she'd at least casually watch the show ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

Anyways, here are my Gavin parents interpretation (also some random headcannons about them under the cut) :)

-Did I steal my friend’s headcannon that Klavier is Filipino? Yes, absolutely. Anyways-

-Also, yes, I am one of those people that thinks Kristoph bleaches his hair. I think he was jealous of Klavier’s hair color because it’s closer to their father’s hair.

-Klavier’s birth name is “Konrad Klavier Gavin Jr.” making his father Konrad Senior. His mother chose his middle name (she had a very loose understanding of the German language and didn’t know that Klavier meant piano). Everyone called him Klavier in his youth as to not mix him and his father up, but he ended up liking it better than Konrad and just decided to go by his middle name.

-they grew up in America, but in a very secluded community of German immigrants. Klavier and Kristoph were homeschooled and spoke German at home (and a little Tagalog thanks to their mother) resulting in Klavier’s weird accent.

I keep thinking 逆転外伝 (gyakuten gaiden - turnabout side story) would be a really good name for an Ace Attorney spinoff. So I drew up some mock renders for the AA spinoff I want to see... Ace Attorney Investigations: Mia Fey...

Mia... Pulling from her T&T design - but also the concept art of her with the popped collar since I thought it was cool. Fun fact: she wears a different belt in her official art vs her sprites. This is the sprites belt. It would be cool to see her doing spirit stuff if you played as her, but lore wise, it probably wouldn't happen... Maybe on the down-low...

Lana! Seeing Lana pre-SL9 is a pipe dream to be sure but a dream nonetheless... Pulled from her standard look, with a bit of Gant in there. I've become quite fond of giving her shiny brogues. Seems her kind of thing. It would be nice to have a detective who's not only very competent but also likes the protagonist. Timeline wise it's not out of the question either...

Angel too. I like Angel. Pulled from her design in the picture of all the SL9 guys round the table. Gave her a cigarette to make things a bit noir detective... Getting to work with familiar characters in unfamiliar roles would be a really cool thing to see.
