Drawing my silly aa thoughts

Today I felt like finally drawing more of my silly aa thoughts. These take place at some point in the 7 year gap, idk when lol.

The first drawing is of course Kay making fun of Miles for wearing glasses, cuz I know she would. The second one is of course based off the whole ladders vs step ladders thing, idk what side Shi-Long is on in canon (have only just finished the first case of aai2 so I don't know if he ever gets involved in the debate or not) but until I know I have decided he's team ladders. Miles is presumably asking him this after spending a few days around Phoenix and Trucy and be frustrated that Phoenix has convinced Trucy to be team step ladders! How dare he! Also yes I didn't bother drawing all the details on Shi-Long's jacket, I felt lazy :P

A few days ago I got some new pen liners (they're pigma micron pens, first time using this brand as my go-to for linners is uni ball) because I have been eyeing them for about a year now and decided "fuck it, I know I want these, I should get some!" and so I did!

Of course after sampling the liners in my art book I had to use some of them in a drawing. So I drew Pearl and Trucy, cuz why not ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯. I had fun with this drawing and even decided to experiment with colouring it in by trying to make it look more soft and pastel, I think I kinda pulled it off.

I also had fun designing cute outfits for these two and even gave Pearl a hairstyle that's a mix of her canon hairstyle and Maya's hairstyle and it turned out better than I expected so I might draw her with this hairstyle more :D.
