It was on this day, where they all felt betrayed by each other, that Clone Force 99 died.

The squad that had never failed a mission just lost for the first time.

They stopped being CF 99 when they started fighting each other instead of with each other. They'll never be that squad again.

But as they fight for each other again, they are starting to become something more, something better. A family.

And while a piece of them did die with Tech, it could never have destroyed who they were. Tech died in a true 99 manner, on a suicide mission sacrificing himself to give his brothers a chance.
