Thuringwethil, Herald of Sauron

Her design is based roughly on some of the descriptions of Carmilla from the book of the same name, and also Varney, Alucard, and Striga from the Castlevania series because I love that show.

I headcanon Thurigwethil as a former Maia of both Orome and Manwe who joined Morgoth out of sheer bloodlust. She was the first to take on a vampire shape, and enjoys her relatively comfortable position and the entertainment that comes from watching Morgoth and Sauron's spats.

My ideal angbang modern au is Mairon steadily working his way up Aule's corporate ladder with intent to steal the company out from under him while his mortician husband Melkor cheers him on and gleefully brags to Manwe about him.

Frankenstein au with Mairon as Victor, Melkor as the Creature and Celebrimbor as Henry Clerval.

Because Mairon as a college student with a god complex that commits crimes against nature seems about right, Celebrimbor would be the childhood friend that has Very Gay subtext with Victor which works with silvergifting, and Melkor fits the Creature's themes about rebelling against the creator but also fits the gay subtext the creature has with victor.

Also, Melkor as the creature would be mostly made of a dead Manwe. For Thematic purposes.

Eonwe around other maiar and Eonwe around elves I cannot draw armour, I am so sorry

I headcannon Manwe to never be entirely relaxed around elves, not because he doesn't like them, but because of an underestimation of how fragile they and the feeling that they need the protection of the Ainur. Because of this, all his maiar end up having to be in their more warlike fana around Elves so if a threat comes up they can fight it immediately without having to drop a more casual fana and then shift into armour.

Eonwe doesn't really agree with this, and always ends up avoiding elves more than he'd like because he feels like he ends up scaring them off, which then gives him a reputation as being uptight and cold.
