cus given my own experiences and also how some ppl who r fine w/ other queer ppl will b rly vocal abt hating any labels that nd and mentally ill ppl come up w/ 2 describe their experiences w/ their queerness that is impacted by that e.g. cloudgender [a label 4 ppl who find it difficult 2 pin down specifics of their gender bc of dpdr]

not 2 mention ppl using us being nd or mentally ill as a way of saying that we can't possibly know our own identity a prime example of this being jk rowling attempting 2 use autistic afab trans ppl like myself against the rest of the trans community by saying that we're "being lead astray" and using the fact that we're autistic 2 try 2 make it seem like we don't know who we r

hey so i figured since i hav 46 followers currently and after seeing the strange aeons vid i don't remember but i think i may hav made a post making fun of the rabies pride thing not knowing it's real history, usually i love their vids but idk, kinda sad that that 1 missed the mark, anyway point being i figured i should 1] let my followers know that my thinking on this has obviously evolved now that i know this and 2] hopefully get the word out abt what the real history of rabies pride was, i hope i didn't do 2 much damage w/ my original post abt the situation if i did in fact make such a post [i hav memory loss 4 days so i legit don't know if i did or didn't] mainly im disappointed in myself 4 potentially having done harm to my own community unknowingly, while i don't personally identify w/ rabies i am both autistic and trans and know what it can b like and can understand how a label like rabies could be useful to those who are trying to reclaim how they are treated bc of it

like sure ppl look at me and think im white but i think ppl don't realise that that doesn't mean im treated as a white person, i get treated differently as soon as they find out im mixed and not white and i still get comments abt my hair and my body proportions which r different bc im mixed not 2 mention deit culture,

i had a problem w/ eating where i wouldn't eat any more than 2 small meals a day and sometimes only 1 small meal a day and sometimes not even that and yet bc of how my fat distribution naturally is i still had my big thighs and ppl called me fat bc of it, not 2 mention the fact that most of the "positivity posts" abt my body type [im kinda a pear shape] is white ppl fetishising it and acting like that somehow makes them better

not 2 mention finding out that 1 of the reasons i exist is bc my dad had a race fetish but whenever monoracial ppl talk abt stuff like that most of the 1s ive seen on youtube still do a 180 2 then talk abt how "mixed ppl aren't our allies" and say we're the same as white ppl, it rly does feel that as soon as we hit puberty they demonise us especially when we start talking abt our own experiences

then there's the fact that the "mixed look" is defined atm by white ppl trying 2 look like us but then that gets labelled as oppression that's only against monoracial ppl

tbh this is y after years of putting up w/ this shit im starting think that the term white passing should b retired bc it's just the same as the term straight passing being used against bisexual ppl, dealing w/ bigotry and then on top of that dealing w/ erasure from ur own community and being told u don't belong there only 4 them 2 then turn around and call u stuck up 4 not interacting w/ them is not a privilege

as a trans person living in the uk i always cringe a little whenever i c some1 in america call the uk "terf island" and act like it's all 1 entity and every country in the uk agrees and act like it's so much worse than the usa when some states in america still hav the trans panic clause, don't get me wrong the uk is full of terfs but it's got less open transphobia than the usa and it's not like the uk is more transphobic, it's just transphobic in a different way and that's w/out talking abt the americans on the dirtbag left who use it as an excuse 2 straight up dehumanize every1 living in the uk and make "jokes" abt nuking the whole place, not 2 mention i feel like a lot of ppl in the usa 4get that not everywhere in the uk agrees and scotland is still currently [unfortunately] part of the uk, i live in scotland and in terms of legal stuff im a lot less scared living here than i would b in the usa, im honestly so sick of hearing americans say that transphobia is more prevalent here than it is where they live, it honestly just feels like they r using it as an excuse 2 point fingers instead of dealing w/ their own country's problems
