Daily reminder that there was already an actually interesting layout for Hazbin Hotel that ACTUALLY felt like it took place after the pilot but it very likely got scrapped for the bs that we got now-

Like THIS genuinely feels like some thought was put into it, unlike the official 'hey let's have a war with fucking Heaven as a season 1 finale and not put any work into getting to know any of the main characters'.

(And YES, I will be using this scrapped layout as groundwork for Limbo Ave. and possibly another au that's just basically the pilot version of HH continued for this storyline-)

(And DOUBLE YES, despite some of the plots being used in the official release I don't consider or accept it because it's obvious af that they just took the description from the scrapped work and just fucked off with everything else because no one could be bothered to take their time and think of a way to make the new stuff actually FLOW well)

I love her old designs. The new ones are okay, but I mostly love the redesigns other people make of the tbh

I find it rlly interesting how the reason why a lot of viv-inspired artists on Twitter/Tumblr get so much of a following as quick as they do is because they take inspiration from vivs pre-hazbin pilot artstyle rather than what she has now and people who fell in love with vivs older style follow them because they miss the warm cozy style that she used to have

When an artist is inspired by vivs work or they say that theyre inspired by vivs style, theyre usually inspired by this:

Another thing ive noticed that's interesting is that all of the artists inspired by vivs pre-hazbin style are firmly against viv and her actions while the ones inspired by her current style will defend her tooth and nail

Vivziepop fans claiming adding black features to her black characters would’ve made it “too difficult” to animate them is a hilarious excuse considering this is the same woman who had characters like these animated:

Another excuse fans have been using is that Vivziepop’s art style is “unsuitable” for black characters, despite her crew members proving otherwise: 

No art style is "unsuitable" for black characters because it's the artist's responsibility to learn how to draw them in their style. There's no excuse for black characters not looking black in your style.

Vivziepop could draw black features in her style but CHOSE not to, hence why none of the black characters look black outside their skin color, which sometimes they don't even have.

An informational comic I drew last year for my Comics 2 class, reposting it to my new account (had to jump ship from the old one unfortunately) with some minor grammar changes and learned my lesson in adding watermarks! Happy early pride :)

This made me feel so bad for them. They loved Jinx, and she just left them like they were nothing.

Especially Gizmo. Throughout the seasons, Gizmo and Jinx seemed almost like siblings, and she just abandoned them without so much as a goodbye.
