I've been thinking about fem Ruggie a lot

i genuinely hate how people have to sit and write a post that stands out while boosting a fundraiser because most people won't bat an eye at the misery and inhumane conditions Palestinians are living in.

i see people making art and telling others to use it because fundraisers with art are generally reblogged more often. i see people using colored text in order to make the post more eye catching.

palestinians on instagram are using popular audios and stitch trending reels at the beginning to make the world pay attention to them. imagine having to make something look entertaining in order to survive.

they are living under constant threat of israeli airstrikes, bombing, scarcity of food and disease. many have lost a lot in the past few months.

palestinians on tumblr are posting their pictures and the horrible conditions in which they are living. they travel long distances for internet connection only to be called a scammer by some privileged ass who cannot locate gaza on a map.

The tale goes… for centuries, the tomb guard has kept Ezra’s cousin at bay. His longing desire to marry and become king finally… It grows by the day, but just as it does so does the tomb guard. Day by day, he grows stronger, breaking the old guard little by little until his day of freedom comes.

Within the dreary forest behind them… resided a certain grave yard, that same graveyard is that exact same tale.

Little did he know it, but Grim had actually ran into said Guard… he was getting too old for this heavy burden, and just like he had, the responsibility was thrown onto Grim. The old man betrothing Grim as the guard of the ghostly tomb within the forest… being the obnoxious cat he was, he didn’t believe him. So Grim left said tomb unwatched…

Little did he know the chaos he had just released… a part 2 to the Phantom Bride…

Ezekiel would make his way to the surface with his army of many soldiers.

Of course what was the closest residence for him to reside? Why, Ramshackle dorm of course!

This is where everyone was kicked out of said dorm (anyone who would be apart of Ramshackle.)

Oh dear, it seemed he had captured non other than our friendly gal Sophie! Oh what ever shall we do?!

Haha just kidding! We know exactly what we shall do, before the time runs out, and Sophie is whisked off to the land of the dead to run a country of the dead… you must race to win the heart of the prince! Though is this tale… if you shall succeed, a happy ever after shall be granted to all!

Your role in this event is to complete against one another and win the princes heart!! Whoever wins will be granted the honor of a card drawn with their new beloved husband!

I didn’t know how to fit her in so I just threw her in as the unwilling victim since she already has a love interest! so Sebek’s design was influenced by 1) lightning and 2) the crocodile maleficent henchman (see below)

I wanted to make his color palette more similar to this henchman (while still keeping the light green in the hair for the lightning effect, as well as adding a bunch of zigzags to his hairline etc) and I also think having the brown in his hair shows more of his human half (he dyes it that green color!)

as you can see from the images above I was particularly influenced by the croc’s eyes + teeth!

his sharp teeth are meant to be like the ones I circled in the reference pic haha (I can imagine the rest of his teeth being flatter and more human but these 3 stick out!)

the darker area around his eyes is supposed to be similar to the croc henchman as well!

^ because of his unique magic, I decided to give him lichtenberg figure scars, which occur when someone is struck by lightning! I love magical consequences haha.. so I decided it would make sense if he scarred a lot from using his UM for the first time

^ his earrings are meant to mimic the shape of fae ears

and ofc I kept the lightning bolt eyebrows from his og design hahaha
